Detailed Reviews
Our stay was short but sweet. We loved the room and the manager was extremely helpful in recommending tourist attractions. It is within walking distance from the town and lake. Parking is good but comes with a fee. We highly recommend this place. Good $€ for great stay.

We spent three nights here and loved our stay. The hotel is a very new looking wooden chalet with only a few rooms, a shared seating area for coffee and an outdoor balcony.
On arrival the receptionist (not sure of his name) was brilliant and gave us loads of tips for what to see.
Our room was the only one with a balcony which was great, and it was a very comfortable stay. It was also cleaned daily so it was spotless.
The only negatives were that the hairdryer often cut out, and on the last morning we had no heating or hot water so couldn’t shower before our flight.
The location was also great. It’s a short hilly walk from the lake, and was much nicer than staying in the town in my opinion.
There is a great restaurant called Sova nearby, plus a supermarket and a bus stop.
Overall we loved our stay. They even put a flower on everyone’s door on International Women’s Day! It’s the little things that make you remember a place.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at Vila Alpina and we felt a bit disappointed with the whole experience. We were glad we had not booked it for any longer. On a positive note, the on-site host is very friendly, and the location within a 10 minute walk to Lake Bled is excellent. The surrounding area is beautiful, although the views are a bit blocked by all the other houses & hotels very close by. We ordered the breakfast delivery and our box got delivered to the wrong room on the first morning. The second morning they got it right and we enjoyed breakfast on the large balcony. Our room and bathroom were very small, but the bed was ok. The air conditioner did not work very well and we were hot, even at night. The windows didn’t have screens so we didn’t open them much (bugs!). The biggest thing they could do to improve the guest experience is invest in a Nespresso coffee machine! Instant coffee is really not acceptable. With a few improvements this could be a good option for an affordable B&B in Bled.

The staff was friendly. Our room quite small and was on the ground floor right under the stairway. It had one window and the ventilation was poor, especially since we didn't open it too wide due to privacy reasons. I think we may have been given this room due to booking it on Hotels.com. We did ask for a change to an upper floor for our second night and they moved us to another ground floor, again quite small. The property will bring you a breakfast basket for $13US or you can eat breakfast at a property nearby for $17US but they don't even provide real coffee in the morning- you have to heat water in your room and take it to the main floor for instant packets. We met friends at this property and were looking forward to having appetizers and wine on the lovely front deck but the sun was so hot, the deck was unusable. I highly recommend they get some umbrellas for their deck so guests can use it in the warmer months. The room was clean but the overall experience was disappointing.

Slightly tricky to find the hotel along and down an off the beaten track road although clearly signposted. Excellent car park and an attractive modern chalet type exterior.
We were very warmly greeted by the receptionist who could not have done more to advise us about things to do/see and restaurants/cafés. A map was annotated for us. Most helpful.
We were shown to our room downstairs but actually on the car park level. No lift but no problem.
Our room was large and spacious with a fridge and we were told free coffee and tea was available in the dining room. We could also have our own food in the dining room if we required. We didn’t have breakfast but this is provided in a box and seems to be plentiful.
Got some reason the room seemed soulless. It echoes the chalet décor but the pine is modern and basic. Bedlinen was blue seersucker duvet covers and a tan base sheet. It would have been so much nicer with crisp white sheets. We had a superior room with a modern but again dull sofa. There is only a car park view and blinds which go upwards to offer privacy. A notice stated leave windows open for freshness but masses of midges are outside at night and there is no insect net on the windows.
The bed is spacious and comfortable.
A workbench and chairs are provided with a wall mounted TV.
A very large bathroom with a good shower is again soulless with plain grey tiles and lots of unused space. The large basin is quite close to the shower and could easily have been placed further along the wall. Towels are provided which are ok but rather basic quality.
The whole room and bathroom have a hostel feel. We slept well but woke feeling rather clammy even though the air conditioning was on. Maybe being near the lake caused this issue. On leaving keys are left in a basket near to reception making departure easy. So a mixed bag. Location, free parking and reception are great but the room for me was somewhat lacking.

My daughter, granddaughter and myself spent 4 nights at Vila Alpina, ( originally booking for 2 nights but staying 2 extra). It's in a beautiful location a minute or two's walk from the lake. Peter the manager couldn't be more helpful with maps, ideas and recommendations of places to visit and things to do. The rooms at the vila are modern, clean, spacious with lovely bathrooms. They also have fridges and kettles. There is also a breakfast area where you can eat your own food. An altogether great place.

Lovely guest house just a 5 minute walk away from the quieter side of Lake Bled. Easy check in and check out with helpful staff who took the time to provide a map and highlight points of interests and local eateries. The rooms have all basic amenities and the decor is simple with beautiful artwork of the surrounding area.

What a beautiful property. We ordered a bottle of wine through our reservation, which was on the bed when we arrived. The room was perfect and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully tiled. We ordered a "Box Breakfast" which was delivered outside the room door at 8:00am. We took our wooden "Box" which was filled with fresh farm goodies. 2 boiled eggs, croissants, cheese, olives, local honey and jelly loaf of bread salami, yogurt, granola and juice. Gregor was fabulous and allowed up to park our car at the property for the day until we were ready to leave.

+1
Peter made our stay so great from check in, to dinner reservations, to recommendations for hikes and where to eat the most authentic Lake Bled cream cake. The inn is very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast basket was amazing and fueled us for a couple of days!
