My wife and I were traveling with our 19 year old son. We were able to get a room with a king bed and a queen sofa bed for him. Service is excellent. Room was very nice with a beautiful view of Lake Bled. The hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk to the path around the lake. The entire area is very walkable although it is a steep hill walking back up from the lake loop. The staff was excellent in providing shuttle services to ferry us in the evenings as needed after dark. There is access to the hotel 24/7.

At 15 th of May I've made a table reservation at Triglav Hotel Bled. Indeed we got a nice table and waiter was very kind. But a terrible experience happened with first course, which was frozen in the middle, at the second course dumpling in a soup was as a stone and main course with a guineafowl meat actually stank....terrible smell.... During all the dinner we were not even once asked, if everything is OK. Desert was average and far from what we expected and what was written in the menu. At the end my debit card was like not working after three tries, but total ok when I ve checked everything on my online bank and after that not a problem with getting cash at bankomat.. I've even gave a tip to a waiter because of his kindness at the beginning, but there was no thank you or similar. I've expected far more professional approach but they are far away from that.

Response from Jurij Korosec, Marketing at Hotel Triglav Bled
Responded 2 weeks ago
Dear mr. Ogrizek, we appreciate your feedback & we are terribly sorry for the experience you had. We understand that after such a first course impression is made, and even positive moments are disregarded and unnoticed. We will pay much more attention to the whole process. We are not looking for any excuses, we only wish, that even if not asked about it, you would have said something. We'd gladly sort the issue on the spot. Hopefully you will give us another chance in the future, we'd gladly welcome you. Please accept our sincere apologies.

Lovely and charming hotel with stunning views of Lake Bled. The hotel is beautifully decorated with antique art and furniture. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. My room was on the third floor and was comfortable, clean and cozy. Perfect for a solo traveler. Highly recommend!

Hotel staff is awesome, Rooms are very clean and beds are comfy! The breakfast and the set menu at the restaurant are great and the wine recommendation is extraordinary. There is a parking lot for 6-8 cars including two private electric charging stations as well as 2 public charging stations right across the main entrance of the hotel. Perfect location to the adjacent lake.

Loved this small and traditional hotel. The location is high up above the lake and a little outside the central town. Stunning views of the lake (from most bedrooms and the dining room), large indoor pool and very comfortably furnished throughout. Staff are friendly and helpful, all speak impeccable English. Breakfast is enormous with a wide choice. Dinner was perhaps over-elaborate for our taste - some dishes worked very well, others didn’t, but this was personal preference. All were very interesting in terms of ingredients and beautifully presented. Highly recommended, would love to return one day.

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of a cycling holiday. The hotel was lovely, good sized room with a balcony overlooking the lake, the view was beautiful. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and service good. Dinner was imaginative, concentrated on local cuisine and there is a very comprehensive wine list. There is an outside terrace for dinner and breakfast if the weather is good. Service at dinner was good and we were very grateful to the waiter who sorted us out a table outside on the terrace after we had been told none were available. Breakfast is a la carte and you can have as much or as little as you want from the menu. The only downside is there is no bar, and it would be nice to have a outside area with comfortable seating to relax in as well as the balcony of your room.

Amazing boutique hotel! I cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality during our 5 night stay. Breakfast itself was a delicious experience (not your usual boring buffet; it was a la carte…). We booked a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and were very impressed with the service and food. Same with the wine tasting session and massage service. The hotel is tucked away nicely to have a full view of Lake Bled and is a walking distance from Bled town. Easy to book tour packages to visit nearby attractions. All handled carefully by the professional staff.

A lovely hotel with amazing views over Lake Bled. Room was clean, well equipped and had AC and a balcony overlooking the lake. I left to climb Mt Triglav v early in the morning (so sad to miss breakfast in the lovely looking restaurant). The hotel were so kind - they prepared a packed lunch and were happy to look after my bag for two days. When I came back to pick up my bag, they even let me have a shower and use the pool before a night train. 100% recommended.
