What a disappointment. Bled is such a beautiful place to be - save yourself a headache and do not stay at this hotel when visiting this enchanting town. We arrived to find that the "guaranteed parking" was not guaranteed at all. The parking area was so full that people were parked upon the sidewalks and grassy area. We had nowhere to put the vehicle, so I was dropped off to check in while my partner looked for a place to leave the car. I entered the lobby and was shocked to see a bus had just unloaded about 50 people who were all standing in the queue to check in. It was so loud and lacked organization. Only one gentleman was working the reception. I waited 20 minutes to check in, and it would have been longer if I had not spoken up in the chaos. Our room was mediocre. It has a view of some trees, but not of Bled. The bed was fine, the shower was tiny. In order to use the spa facility were were instructed to walk to another property, very strange. I really cannot say many nice things about this hotel, what a shame for a trip to Bled.…
The moment we arrived we were greeted by Zaki the swan and the kids loved it. They also got a colouring book and crayons in the room, and they loved the animation in the hotel's playroom - they learned how to make origami swans and got some food to feed the swans by the lake. Another thing they loved was swimming in the Wellness Živa pools. The joined family room was spacious, the view from the balcony was great. The breakfast was nice, so was dinner at the Rikli Balance hotel ... all in all it was a great stay.
Nice, clean hotel and well-located. There weren't many spare toilet rolls left in the bathroom however, so I got some from the chambermaids. The sister hotel, the Rikli Balance, ist just opposite and has a lovely pool that is free to use for Hotel Savica guests. Considering its size I was however surprised that there was no fitness studio as well as the spa.
Great location and depending on which side you were on, you either had a lovely views on lake Bled or the beautiful mountains in the background! Nice hotel, although attention to detail was lacking a little in my room but another great base to explore the area! From reception you could get free and discounted vouchers for kids for the excursions in and around the lake. The only negative aspect of my stay was the breakfast situation. There was limited choice and very limited tables so it was a bit of a pain having to come down for breakfast, however if you came down early it wasn't an issue and on the last morning we found out that there is a hidden room that you could have breakfast in...if everyone knew then it would have been a much better experience. If I had more money to spend for accommodation, I would opt for the sister hotel next door called the Rikli Balance hotel. Please see my review for it. The great news is that you have a daily free pass to use the facilities at this hotel which has the biggest indoor pool and sauna in the region. Apart from the 2 tier pool with a connecting water slide with a water full and numerous water jets, indoor and outside pools (of different temperatures…..you have the amazing view of Lake Bled, the castle, the famous church on the island the amazing mountains in the background! This was topped off with a lovely cold Lasko beer in the 35 degree heat!…
We stayed at this hotel after seeing it advertised on a discount/coupon site. The promise of staying in a wellness facility with access to a spa, breakfast, and comfortable rooms seemed to good to pass up. Unfortunately we had an awful time here. It began when we arrived at the hotel. The parking lot was overflowing with cars to the point where cars were parking on the sidewalks and curbs. There was a huge tour bus emptying out and everyone was headed into the hotel, which was not a good sign for us. The hotel's sister hotel is located across the way and shares the same parking lot, so that was part of the problem. The lobby was a madhouse - people everywhere clamoring to get their room keys. It was a long wait to get ours but finally we went up to our room and tried to relax. That wasn't easy to do because the walls here are paper thin. We could hear everyone's conversations and banging from the room above us. We had a cute balcony with a nice country view, so that was a positive, but our overall stay was poor. We attempted to use the "benefit" of the spa area in the sister hotel that night but it was so unbelievably crowded and noisy that we had to leave. Instead we walked around town which is a nice thing to do. It is a short walk down to the lake. Breakfast the next morning wasn't anything special and by that point we just wanted to leave.…
I spend 21st of October to 26th of October attending a conference. It is a new and small hotel as an extension of the parent hotel - Hotel Rikli Balance. The room is OK, but very warm during daytime. My repeated requests to their management to switch on the service of the central air conditioner, which is working in the ground floor, do not yield any result. They indicate that as per policy they do not supply air conditioner in the rooms at this point of the year! They do not have any lunch or dinner facility - we need to go to Hotel Rikli Balance every time for lunch or dinner. The staffs of the dining service of that hotel are very uncourteous, sometimes so much that I almost feel I am treated differently, being as Asian,
This is our 5th visit to Lake Bled and our 3rd to this hotel. We will for sure be back! Perfect base for a Bled stay - hotel is close to Lake and nearby the attractions. Reception help you with days out and information to get you started. Breakfast is great and staff help you if kids need things to get them settled. Lovely days out sightseeing and relax later in the wellness spa and pools that you get to use 1 minute away in the Rikli Balance Hotel. What more could you wish for! Enjoy
We spent a weekend at the hotel. Service is very pleasant. Hotel is clean Heating didn't seem to work. In price there was breakfast and swimming pool included. We also got coupons for free coctails, and some rides for the kids.
staid here for 2 nights. Location is good. Very close to the lake, boulevard and restaurants. Parking can be a problem because there are more rooms than parking spots but an employee of the hotel helped us finding a spot. Personnel at reception is okay. Room is nice with a good bed and nice bathroom and shower. Balcony was large with a fine view. Breakfast is extensive. Biggest plus is that you ones a day can use the swimming pool at the other side of the parking. This swimming pool has a nice view on the lake, is spacious and has a lot of different swimming areas (inside, outside, different temperatures, Jacuzzi and a slide) and enough sun beds inside and outside. Compared to the prices you pay for other hotels in Bled this is competitive.
We had a 6 night stay here recently and there are positives and negatives to this hotel. First the challenges. -The Reception are hit and miss on service but overall seem to try their best. -Breakfast was not a good experience for me, I found it lacking in offering and I didn’t like things like the ‘pancake machine’ that you load a bag of dough in and it slowly makes 2 pancakes at a time while a group of irate children stand around it. There was also a ‘juice machine’ that wasn’t fresh juice and sometimes gave out watered down juice. Overall breakfast was the worst part of the stay for me despite the fact that most of the staff were very friendly at breakfast even when under pressure. -Housekeeping was hit and miss. They never knocked before entering the room they just used the key to enter (this could also be because we had connecting rooms with an outer door and they weren’t expecting them to be open). No shower gel amenities just a bottle that didn’t dispense in the shower. The Good - fantastic room layout for families, probably the best we’ve had in a long time - lovely little playground outside the hotel which kept the kids entertained for hours -table tennis outside, that Reception was always happy to give the equipment for -wow facilities you can use next door at Rikli Balance hotel, massive pool for kids and hot tubs with a slide - such a bonus. Makes it really worth it to stay there. -perfect location super close to the lake -very responsive Guest service manager (who looks after their 6 properties)who really wants you to have a good experience)…
