stinky corridors, bathrooms not renovated from 1970s. Breakfast served as obligatory scrambled eggs or sausages, no choice. Bad tea, bad coffee. I would avoid this place, for slightly higher price you may have Ibis, which is far more comfortable.

This place summarize everything bad when You thing about students hostel. It is as basic as it can be. And outdated. Sure, it is quite cheap. But when adding the cost for getting there and the nerves you will eventually loose - not worth it.

University accommodation that has tired 1970s decor, lifts that do not actually go to specific floors and poor breakfasts. Rooms, however, are large and with a balcony. Location is very nondescript though fairly near transport system. Wouldn't recommend unless on a very tight budget.

Someone from the office didn't like me and booked me into this place for 2 weeks on a business trip. OK, it was near the office but far from downtown and everything else. The Sokrates hotel is not a hotel but a student hostel...from the communist days! The furnishing in the room hasn't changed since 1973 except that the room...
