Great hotel, with freshly renovated rooms. 10 minutes walk from the Warsaw’s Old Town, buses and trams downstairs (a few minutes by tram to Warsaw’s CBD - you actually see it and can walk (takes up to 20 minutes by foot). Great service, clean rooms and very good prices.
Everything was as we expected. The room were clean and the location was very good, after 10 minutes walking you can see the old city center and the main buildings of Warsaw. We park the car into the hotel. You can also park around easily.
We were in Warsaw for a wedding so we stayed at this Ibis Hotel as it was one chosen by the bride and groom to offer guests a "less expensive option" than the 4 or 5 star hotels. As we were also paying for two extra rooms for our daughters we decided this would be good enough for us all. (We usually stay in 4/5 star if on our own) I have to say, I was very pleased with our choice. The hotel was very clean, modern minimalist style and was actually quite "quirky" and I knew the girls would also love it. We were there for 4 nights and the girls for 3 nights. If I am honest, our room was a little on the small side and the bathroom was pretty large (they could have made the bathroom smaller and the room bigger) Ironically as usually happens - the girls got better rooms than us!! The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well as it was very quiet even though it overlooked a road from the 2nd floor. They must have very good sound proofing. The breakfast was excellent. A full buffet each morning with plenty of choice and decent coffee machines, instead of filter coffee left to go bitter on a coffee stand! We had dinner on our first night in the hotel and I had a veggie salad with some extra chicken added and that was delicious and we shared a very generous ice cream sundau between us. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk into the old town. The hotel doesnt look to interesting from the outside, but it more than makes up for that when you get inside.…
i'ts our 9th stay in this hotel. Every time we come to Warsaw we stay at ibis stare miasto. Friendly staff, ready to help you, 24 hrs bar opened. Near to old city sith buses and trams outside of the hotel, it's the ideal hotel for us
Tip: It pays to ask for more pillows and an electric jug - not standard. Good service from reception printing out maps and advice on trams and buses. Introduced us to the Ibis breakfast which is substantial and comprehensive.
