More than 160 years since its 19th century heyday, Hotel Europejski as Raffles Europejski Warsaw takes its place once again at the heart of Poland’s proud capital city. It’s a hotel full of stories. A building with soul. A place that has stayed in hearts and memories, even as the shape and fortunes of the city around it have changed. The feeling is welcoming and intimate – a real home from home. Service is personal and thoughtful, with care in every detail. Here every guest feels understood, valued and connected, both to the hotel and the city. References to Warsaw echo throughout the interior, celebrating the building, its history and its place in the world. Here the artistic identity of Poland is reflected and championed; the traditions of the past are reinvented in the spirit of understated modern luxury. Here is the restoration of a cherished icon, a place where stories – both old and new – are told.

Nestled near Old Town Warsaw, Raffles Europejski Warsaw is celebrated for its prime location, providing guests with easy access to the city's attractions without the hustle of crowds. The hotel's service is frequently lauded for its professionalism and friendliness, though it's not without occasional lapses. Luxurious amenities, including sumptuous rooms and a praised breakfast, contribute to the hotel's appeal, despite some feedback on buffet variety.
Cleanliness and the hotel's art-infused luxurious atmosphere are consistently highlighted by guests. While some have noted discrepancies with reservation benefits, many find the overall experience to be worth the investment.

Detailed Reviews
The hard product continues to impress. This time the pool had finally opened and it is a great addition to the spa; it is housed in a room with low ceilings and has an almost cave like quality to it with lots of different areas with various water features such as waterfalls as well as a separate jacuzzi area on a slightly lower level. This is a pool to lounge in rather than swim lengths although there is a jet stream should you be so inclined.
Despite this being our third stay here they don't seem to have made enough notes on file for room preference and once again we ended up changing room. None of the rooms here are bad per se, so it is of course personal taste, but at a property that is aiming to operate at the highest level, it is remembering details like this for repeat guests that make all the difference. That said, we eventually ended up in a very comfortable room. Also, even though the hotel was at a very low occupancy rate they made no attempt to upgrade us which is a little odd especially given at a Sofitel (their lower tier sister brand) the week before we'd received a triple upgrade! The front desk need to put some more thought into the finer points of guest experience.
Housekeeping continues to be a weak area. There are little patches here and there in the bedroom that are not being regularly cleaned. I am not sure if it is because housekeeping are not being given enough time to prepare rooms or if their supervisor doesn't have the requisite attention to detail or a combination of the two, but they need to step things up in this area. If they carry on in their current state then in just a few years' time the hotel will be looking tired far too early. A world class property needs to be world class in all areas and good housekeeping is fundamental.
The food and beverage offering continues to evolve in a very positive way and we enjoyed Lourse's sweet treats as well as a wonderful Sunday lunch in the grill (see separate reviews). What is nice to see is that non-residents are taking afternoon tea and having drinks in the bar so that the hotel - even though it is at low occupancy - still has a lively atmosphere in the public areas.
All in all it is a beautiful property that offers an exceptionally high quality hard product. With a few tweaks here and there on the softer aspects it will truly be a world class hotel.

The Raffles is perfectly located, right at the beginning of the Old Town. The building is from the 1800's and it has been lovingly restored by Raffles. It is like a contemporary art museum, with Polish art everywhere. The service is truly wonderful. Everyone knew my name and would follow up on my many, many asks and make sure I was comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful, and all tubs pay tribute to the Palace of Culture and Science, the most famous skyscraper in the city. I loved the experience.

Just come back from a long weekend here, Warsaw is definitely worth a visit and this hotel is a must!
We had a junior suite which was exceptional in design, luxurious quality and the bed is so comfy that I wish I could have the same at home.
I contacted the hotel before we arrived as it was my husbands 50th and they very kindly provided a lovely card and bottle of champagne in the room free.
We only had lunch at the hotel once, a chicken ceaser salad but that was great and spent most evenings in the bar after we came back from eating and drinks for a five star are very reasonable. I would say the bar in hotel gets very busy, we were fine but the staff did turn several people away as there were no tables.
Hotel staff were very friendly, the concierge arranged for a tour to Treblinka and they tour guide they supplied was so knowledgeable I would highly recommend it.
Definitely would return to this hotel if we come back to Warsaw, probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a city break.

The hotel is in a good location, close to everything. The hotel is just magnificent; the hotel facilities, the rooms, and the hotel interior are all world class. All staff provide you with the highest level of service, you feel so taken care of. The breakfast was high quality, delicious and very comprehensive.
We had issues with strange working air conditioning in our room which we pointed out first the next day, and the staff emphasized that we should have made the complaint during the night because as they said, “they are there for us”, so we got upgraded to a junior suite and could sleep well the second night.
One day we had lunch in the Europejski Grill restaurant, the food was fantastic but unfortunately the service was poor, not at Raffles level. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water; they poured some water in our glasses and then took the bottle away and never came back and asked if we wanted more even when we sat there with empty glasses.
The drinks in the Long Bar were excellent.
We will definitely stay here again when we have the opportunity!

I was very happy with the hotel in many ways. The staff are excellent and the rooms are fitted to a very high standard and the location is great, making it easy to walk to many of Warsaw's attractions.
The spa is also very nice though I didn't have much time to enjoy it as I was on a business trip.
The restaurant and bar are also of a very high standard. My only comment would be that a more casual dining option would be great to have. And a few more options on the room service menu would also be referable.
But overall it's a great place to stay.

We stayed for three nights and it was a beautiful hotel. Each room ( although a bit small in size) is beautifully decorated and the bathrooms with heated floors were of extremely high standard. The breakfast is ale cart but of very good quality. A tour of the hotel is a must and provided by the hotel on request. Will love to revisit. Location is perfect on the Main Street of old town of Warsaw

Overall this is a fantastic hotel with mostly excellent staff. However, the issue at this property is that they absolutely do not honor the details and inclusivities of a given reservation. The front dest staff also directly lies and only comes around when their lies are pointed out and contradicted with proof. My reservation was made through Fine Hotels and Resorts and the hotel refused to honor most of the benefits that were included as part of the booking. No mention was made of FHR benefits at check in. They refused a room upgrade even though 6 higher category rooms were available at check in during my stay. After pointing that out, most members of the staff proceed to lie to me directly about lack of availability, and the hotel being booked to capacity, which was clearly not the case. Eventually after much hassle I was given an "upgraded" handicap accessible room, which came with it's own slew of issues, such as alarms being set off and security having to come to the room. The breakfast provided was delicious, and buffet spread, although lacking many options, was tasty and sufficient. However the wait staff was inattentive, even having to be reprimanded by a supervisor in front of me for failing to clear dishes. The biggest issue during the stay was when I returned to my room the following morning post breakfast, I received a call from the reception asking why I'm still there and when I would be leaving. Upon reminding the receptionist that my stay includes a GUARANTEED 4 p.m.check out, I was informed that they would NOT be honoring that and that I need to vacate the room because they are booked to capacity. After politely pointing out that the 4 p.m. checkout is a GUARANTEE of a FHR reservation, I was informed that it is the manger's decision and I have to leave. My door keys were disabled. I was denied speaking to the manager in person even though I was informed that he would be available. Overall what should have been a very pleasant and relaxing stay at a property that has all the potential to deliver that, fell completely short. Being forced out of my room was completely unacceptable and left feeling unwelcome, stressed and humiliated.

The hotel is just beautiful. The rooms are amazing and the beds are huge and so comfortable. The service from concierge, doorman, receptionists and crew were outstanding.
One thing that stood out:
I was out buying flowers to my wife while she was having a massage in the spa. When I came back, they noticed I had flowers and told me that they could put them in water and a vase to bring it to my room. I wanted to surprise my wife with the flowers so they told me they would come up in a few minutes.
Back in the room I was starting to get a little inpatient as my wife was back from the spa and I had no flowers. It had gone almost 30 minutes and I was about to call the concierge when they finally rang the doorbell.
Not only did they bring my flowers, but they had made a second beautiful bouquet of flowers AND they had arranged an amazing cake to surprise us.
I was very impressed.
Even without the above mentioned surprise from the hotel, it still would have gotten a 10 out of 10.
It has been a pleasure and we will definitely be back.

Great place to stay. Rooms are spacious. Staff is attentive. However promised to honor early check-in and that didn't happen. Also housekeeping is kind of missing, you don't see them in the hallways if you just need simple stuff (water change towels only) and it is time consuming for them to come and attend to you. More visibility and presence in the hallways would be appreciated. Car parking is right outside and always found a spot open; you can pay the street parking for the entire day, free on weekends. Spa is great with separate men and women saunas and common pool. Great cafe in the hotel with delicious cakes.

Washington DC, District of Columbia111 contributions36 helpful votes1. Is the A/C vent blowing air straight onto the bed when you sleep, as some picture show some air vents built into the ceilings just above the beds? Is there a way to turn it off completely, if you don't need it.
2. Are the rooms dusty or clean?
3. Is it worth to get the breakfast buffet? I have read some reviews complaining about the lack of freshly squeezed orange juice and other items being subpar.
4. Does the front desk recognize Accor status, if you had one-did you get a complimentary room upgrade?
1. In our Suite A/C was not blowing onto the bed
2. Room and all grounds are spotlessly clean
3. Breakfast is very good (I would still say nearby-located Sofitel has better one as I wrote in my review) and there were no issues with amount of fresh Orange juice when we stayed
4. Yes, we were recognized as Accor members. We didn't receive upgrade as actually for our Stay as Platinum member i used one of my Suite Night Upgrades (privilege starting only from Platinum) so we already did have a Suite :)
Dear Frances L,
twin beds are available in Junior Suites. Our twin beds are 150 cm width.
The indoor swimming pool has opened. It is located in the Raffles Spa on the -1 level of the hotel and is complimentary for hotel guests to use during their stay.
