This hotel is conveniently within walking distance of Old Town, the university, parks, restaurants and more. If you don't want to walk, there are bikes you can rent close by, and if don't want to cycle either, there are taxis out front. The rooms are very comfortable. The beds have four pillows on them and the bathroom linens included wash clothes, something no other hotel we stayed at while in Poland actually had. We enjoyed this hotel and stayed here twice, once in August at the beginning of our trip and again in September at the end of our trip. Both rooms were quiet, spacious and comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights in September. Prior to our stay, I had emailed the hotel with special requests for our rooms and also to state that this stay was for a friends birthday. My requests were met and we were issued with some free welcome drinks at the bar. Really nice gesture. Reception staff on arrival were friendly (no doorman though, which you would expect at a luxury SOFITEL hotel). Our room was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. We didn’t have breakfast as was overpriced and managed to get 4 breakfasts at a local cafe for less than they charge for 1 at the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, walking distance to the old and the new parts of Warsaw. The spa/pool area is lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We visited Warsaw in July 2019 for a long weekend and spent three nights at the Sofitel Victoria. As we arrived from the airport (and the transfer time is pleasantly short), I was a little surprised by the architecture - to my mind the hotel is not something of convential beauty and I had somehow had other expectations of what Pilsudski square would look like. Warsaw is a great city to visit and this is a very very good hotel. We had a suite overlooking the square and the old town. Really very comfortable facilities, great service from staff across the board and realy very good and varied breakfast buffet. I cannot find any reason why I would not recommend this hotel. We used the bar - yes, it was hotel prcies but service was good and the cocktails were lovely. We used room service - we have never done before but we were knackered having walked through Warsaw for hours and again the service was exemplary, the food hot and tasty. I say that I cannot find any reason not to recommend the hotel. The somewhat brutal initial impression was changed walking back through a thunderstorm at night and seeing the hotel through lightning - I did, I think see some beauty.

This hotel has all the amenities you could want. The rooms come complete with bathrobes, slippers, laundry service, shoe bags, ironing board, hair dryer, USB outlets and more. There reason we are giving this hotel a 4.9 rating is because there is no outlet in the bathroom or near the mirror where you can plug in a curling iron or hair straightener. Trying to style your hair using an outlet on the night stand without a mirror was almost impossible. If I am wrong about this, perhaps the hotel staff can correct me on this. A woman was not consulted when designing the room features. Breakfast buffet was very good and contained almost all of your breakfast items from cereal, toast, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon to deli meats, cheeses, waffles, crepes, fruit, etc... there is something for everyone. You are a few minutes walk from the old city as well as the church of the Holy Cross where Chopin’s heart is entombed. Don’t miss the nightly concert at Chopin Point ($15 US) 5 min walk from the hotel. There are many restaurants in the area and you will not lack for choices.

We have stayed for nights at this hotel and cannot speak highly enough of it. The room we have is large, very well appointed, comfortable, and with amazingly good beds. The hotel is also in a great location in terms of getting to the old town and seeing other parts of the city, and is opposite a wonderful park should you wish to walk or run. The staff have been excellent and the service has been extremely good. It has a wonderful pool in the basement along with a very well appointed gym. We have very much enjoyed the city, which is clean, safe, attractive and with friendly people. It is not overly touristy like other places we have been, into somewhere that we would definitely wish to return to.
