Stayed here for an event held at the hotel. It’s a clean and pleasant hotel with large comfortable rooms. Staff are generally very helpful and friendly. My only negative experience was in checkout where the member of staff got a little short when sorting out the billing address and ultimately made an error in the billing which the hotel had to contact me about afterwards. Note that the main entrance was being renovated so we needed to enter through the side.

Had a late flight and arrived at the hotel after midnight. Had read a couple of iffy reviews but felt confident that a 5 star Sheraton would be up to scratch. Had booked a double room but none available as hotel was very busy as someone had booked out the top two floors., allegedly. Had a look at the room and it was big but north facing so no sun, which is something we had tried to email about before flying. Another room was on the side and looked at concrete and a central rooftop below. Accepted a twin room overlooking a block of flats but said would want to change as had paid for a double upgraded room for 4 nights. Day two saw us back at reception after 2.30 pm where we met the lovely Katia (Kasha) who showed us several rooms and eventually remembered a room that was closed for a day so off the system. It was great, 5th floor and had a little sun in the morning and evening sun later on. Rooms are big as previous reviews have said. The hotel is no longer a Sheraton but is part of Marriott Bonvoy. They should have closed hotel for refurb but have kept it open, so you arrive by back door and have build noise. One small function room is being used as a restaurant and the lobby bar can do snacks. The breakfast is served in the ballroom, so no windows and not very cool at times. The hotel is centrally located and you can get good public transport via bus, taxi, tram or metro close by, within 10 minutes walk. Old town would be a simple bus ride up one street but there is a diversion until the end of August, so we walked and stopped for coffee on the way. I have never seen so many Caffè Nero, Starbucks or even Costa in one small area. My wife has difficulty walking but it is all flat in this area. Lots of restaurants within 15 minutes walk. We visited the Uprising Museum, great. The Palace of Art and Culture to see the old communist era rooms was interesting. Went to Lazienki Park with the Palace on the Island which was lovely. Walked to a great cocktail bar in the evening with DJ in the street which was buzzing with young people who love to talk English with you and are really friendly. So after a bad start which was looking like a two star review, the hotel contacted us and really pulled it out if the bag. Breakfast was terrific with everything you could want. Will on the egg and omelette station was a star and got us poached eggs to order and found bacon each day as that was not on the hot plate. Plenty of fresh fruit including strawberries and servers were happy to get what you needed. My wife was tired on day two so we ate in the hotel in the evening where we met Martyna, who was wonderful. The meals were fine with large portions on some choices. Nothing really traditional polish as such but they are working under very difficult conditions with no real restaurant. Asked for a cocktail which was not on the list but the barman got the recipe and made a Pina Colada which my wife loved. All the team were really smiley and responded to being treated as individual people not just waiters etc. We actually ate there again for two more night as we were both tired after long days and Martyna was again really lovely and chatty. Spoke to the people we booked our holiday with whilst there and they arranged for some vouchers to use in the hotel against food, which was really helpful and sensible, so no long drawn out argument about what when wrong etc. Aleksandra at reception was really most helpful and understanding. She organised the bill and the vouchers etc. She made it all so easy. Have had a message from hotel to say come back when all is refurbished, and to be honest, we might actually do it as the city is really cool, with a laidback vibe and feels safe. The hotel team actually did a great job under difficult circumstances. Thank you especially Kasha, Aleksandra, Martyna and Will . The last morning was fine as we booked out but sat in reception waiting for taxi with cases in a locked secure area. Funnily enough the ballroom was closed after breakfast as they were making an advert so saw some familiar British actors , but did not know their names The hotel team had that to cope with too.!!! I recommend the city and I think the hotel will be at its best when the works are done.

The hotel Is currently undergoing some refurbishments on the ground floor so they have less open common areas than normally but are still presented well in the circumstances. My bedroom was large, clean and stylish with a massive comfortable bed, nice bathroom and plenty of nice touches like bath robes and good lighting, a big desk available to work at. Breakfast offered a huge selection of food to suit all tastes. I was here for business and found it to be accessible as was travelling by Uber to work and other locations. Would stay again happily but the reservations team should make people aware of the ongoing work and noise. Not a five star hotel Currently in my opinion but a good four star

We visited Warsaw during the hit wave 35C. The hotel and our room had fantastic A/C. Interior is modern but classy. Very spacious room with a high standard bathroom facilities. Room very clean. Staff very polite and professional. Breakfast was 10 out of 10. Spoiled for choice and everything fresh. There was even a chef who would cook it in front of you. Brilliant. Good location too. Overall great experience even though there’s some construction going on at the moment.

Arrived midnight last night to find there were no double rooms left only twins. Under sufferance had to take one of these rooms with the hope of getting a change of room today. This hotel is okay if you are staying for business as it’s in the business quarter but not for a city break/holiday. So disappointed nothing to look at only flats opposite or the interior of the hotel. This is not a 5 star Sheraton as it’s been taken over by Marriott Bonvoy. It seems to be going through a refurbishment programme as when you arrive it’s by the back door it feels!! I would agree with past reviewers this hotel is best to be avoided.

Dear JakiB53, Thank you very much for the comment you shared regarding our hotel. Each Guest’s opinion is highly important for us as it helps us to deliver the highest quality in every aspect of our service. It is regrettable that your stay with us did not meet the expectations and please accept our sincerest apologies for dissatisfaction you have expressed. In the meantime, please allow me to address a couple of your concerns. We have recently started the renovation of our restaurants and part of public spaces, which we expect to finish by the end of summer. We do anticipate some kind of disruptive works therefore together with our team we are working very hard to mitigate any inconveniences during this time so our guests could continue to enjoy their stay with us. As you realized the hotel main entrance was transferred to Konopnicka Street and we made every effort to make it as welcoming as possible. Regarding the Hotel location, please stay assured that The Sheraton Warsaw is located in one of the most prestigious area of Warsaw, in the city Centre, surrounded with shops & restaurants and close to the most beautiful park in Warsaw – Royal Lazienki. Usually our positioning is greatly appreciated by guests therefore it is very disappointing to learn your opinion. I truly hope that you will give us a chance to regain your confidence in our services visiting our newly refurbished property. We expect, in a short while, The Sheraton Warsaw Hotel to become Warsaw’s Gathering Place. We would like to have a chance to celebrate this transformation with you and look forward to welcoming you back on this occasion. Should you need any assistance with your future booking, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at my e-mail: Iwona.ozga@sheraton.com Your Sincerely, Iwona Ozga Front Office Manager
