Detailed Reviews
The price I paid for a couple of nights at the Regent Warsaw was remarkably low, given the excellent amenities, such as superb swimming pool and sizeable gym. Perhaps the affordable rate was in part due to my booking being for a weekend, rather than the working week when evidently many business guests would be making their stay here, and in part due to the hotel's location slightly outside the city centre. The location is still extremely convenient, however, being a ten-minute bus ride to the central rail station in Warsaw, and other sites. The staff were casual but very professional and friendly, the room was huge, the bathroom particularly impressive, and the overall experience mightily positive. I'd recommend this place, particularly if staying as a tourist at the weekend.

My wife and I stayed at the Regent Hotel in early August.
In short, the hotel is very close to the palace gardens, about a 35 minute walk to Warsaw Centralne and about a 50 minute walk to the old town. However the location is stunning and it is slightly cheaper for car parking if you stay at the hotel.
As for the hotel itself, it’s a very large hotel and the rooms are a good size, plus, they are all Air Conditioned. They are very much taking Covid seriously as well with compulsory face-masks in public areas a must. My only gripe from a room front, there was no room clean during our stay (we were there two nights) - which may be a Covid requirement at a guess. And bizarrely, I couldn’t find a document that showed hotel services in the room. So, for example, how to find the WiFi.
We had breakfast which was very much Covid driven in that it wasn’t buffet. However the breakfast was excellent, you had four options, plus coffee, tea, juice and water. And it was served to you. And the food was great. It really set you up for the day.
So, in closing, very large hotel, be prepared to do some walking (or hire a scooter or citibike which are plentiful), food is really good.
Just a tip, if you park, tell reception otherwise you won’t get a discount.

+1
We arrived early and sadly our rooms weren’t ready but we were permitted to leave cases in their care until we got back from exploring. We came back early evening to check In which was fast and our group got issued room keys with a description of all the benefits and times of breakfast etc. we were allocated room 360 which was huge and a massive bathroom containing a bath and a shower (was truly massive)
Restaurant in the evening was dire mist if the group got their food but they seemed to forget about my order so after waiting and waiting I stormed out the restaurant and not even a sorry was given. Putting that aside breakfast was fantastic and probably one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen in a hotel with the choice of eggs freshly cooked off the Al a carte menu.
Beds are comfortable but pillows are very flimsy. Hairdryer isn’t very fast and took me ages to dry my hair so if you need one take your own. The bath was love,y and wish I could’ve bought that home with me was a luxury to be able to fit in the bath with ample room.
We walked to town in the morning and was a fresh brisk walk but it’s doable so you get to take In the embassy’s etc but if you don’t like or can’t walk fat then a taxi or Uber will do as it’s quite far out.
We loved our stay and the group of 6 we all enjoyed ourselves. This would be definitely an option to return if the prices were right.
Thank you for a wonderful stay

Hotel is situated quite a long way from town center, however a bus service runs from bus stops nearby. Over priced for what is a fairly average business hotel. we stayed in a superior room on the 6th floor which allowed access to the club area. Club was average with a small food offering and alcoholic drinks only available over a limited perod (Corinthian in Budapest has a far superior club lounge and Regent could learn from them) Room was ok but nothing special same as the breakfast offering which again was overpriced.
All in all a reasonbly good stay but won't be rushing back.

Firstly the hotel is situated quite far out of the main part of town so expect a long journey to and from the city centre and old town areas, it is situated quite near the largest park in Warsaw and weather permitting this is a must see. We were coming to the end of our stay in Warsaw and wanted a good hotel with good amenities to relax before the journey home. We had booked an executive room which gave access to an executive lounge. We paid a premium for this as it’s quite far from town there are not many places to get cold drinks nearby we felt this would be a nice end to a great stay. We visited the lounge in the afternoon and have to say the greeting was amateur at best. “What do you want?” Just some sparkling water I replied. The complimentary nibbles were a small bowl of peanuts, some tired looking pears and a small jar of cookies. We left after a 20 minute wait for some ice for our water. The next morning we followed the instructions on the website “Club guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast served in the Venti-tre restaurant.” This is normal practice for an executive club class room and have enjoyed some great lounges around the world BUT NOT THIS ONE! We checked into the restaurant sat down to breakfast only to be then chased by the host to enquire if we had breakfast included. “Yes I think so I replied.”Another member of staff was then brought in to say it wasn’t. Not a problem. We finished our average breakfast and went to leave and pay at the door only to be chased by the host once again to come to a different cash register and pay the bill. Zl 190 Or £35 for 2 breakfast. We paid and went to front desk to enquire about our executive club status and what this entitles us to. Apparently as we booked through booking.com you are not afforded the same perks that are detailed on the hotels website as a direct customer. In summary the hotel is nice, definitely not 5 star that I am used to or visited around the world. Staff speak little or no English. The rooms are spacious but tired and in need of renovation. They are very clean. Pillows are ancient and urgently need replaced. There is no mini bar in the room and you need to request this which again for a 5 star I find puzzling. We stayed in many 5 star hotels in Warsaw in executive club class rooms. If it’s a choice the intercontinental or Westin are far superior in every way do yourself a favour book into these hotels as they are professional, courteous and make you feel very welcome… unlike the Regent Warsaw hotel.

This hotel is decent but it’s not a 5*. Maybe an average 4*. The decor is very beige, reminding me of the 90s. I feel like they need to freshen up the colour palette a bit. The restaurant is nice but it’s confused. They have posh food on the menu but also pizza? I think the hotel would make more money if they changed the restaurant from a posh restaurant with staff in suits to a casual dining area which can be both elegant and casual. What’s the point in having a posh restaurant if people come in wearing caps and hoodies? People don’t want posh food when staying in a hotel, they want everyday stuff - and 5* hotels can rock that vibe if done well. Saying all this, the pizza was very nice, done in a proper oven. The pool area wasn’t what I expected. In a 5* hotel you expect the pool area to be relaxing and luxurious but it was giving leisure centre vibes. The sauna was very nice and warm but the steam room was off. And the decor in the sauna area was much to be desired. Could’ve done with some soothing music too.
Now the main thing that ruined the hotel for me, the pillows. I can’t lie flat due to health reasons so I needed 2-3 pillows. Even with 3 pillows, they all just sunk in on themselves so I didn’t feel elevated. It was not a comfortable sleep because of this. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel because of the pillows. Such a shame because the bathroom was bangin’. The bath was a lovely touch. And the staff were lovely of course! So all in all, this hotel is more of a 4* and needs to be refreshed in terms of decor around the hotel. Please god get rid of the browns and beiges. Also liquid hand soap would be better in the bathroom - solid soap gives 3*.

Response from Iwona Szwedzinska, Guest Services / Front Office at Regent Warsaw Hotel
Responded Sep 17, 2024
Dear Sir, thank you for choosing our hotel. Thank you also for sharing opinion of your stay. Feedback from Guests is always important information and an assessment of the work. It also provides additional knowledge of areas of our business that require additional attention. It is true that the hotel has been on the Warsaw market for 24 years (formerly Hotel Hyatt) and is in need of renovation. This is planned and we will inform our guests of the date in due course. We are pleased that the room and bathroom and sauna met your expectations. Other comments have been passed on to those responsible for these matters. We hope that they will be quickly resolved in a positive direction. We are also pleased that the staff were helpful. We invite you to visit us again in the future with the hope that your next stay will be fully satisfactory. With Kind Regards, I. Szwedzinska Guest Relations Manager

Hotel in a beautiful location with dramatic service. I chose it because of its proximity to a business meeting. First problem when entering by car. Underground parking too small to enter. There is no space on the ground level. After parking to take my luggage the hotel staff comes and tells me to leave immediately because parking is my problem and I can do it anywhere outside the hotel (we are still talking about a 5 star hotel). So I spend 20 min looking for a parking space outside the hotel. Then 30 min at the reception (we were alone) to get a room. After entering the room it turned out that it smells incredibly because it is a room for smokers. The honour of the hotel is saved by the lady serving the floor, who instantly arranges the exchange. For this attitude I would give the second *, but we are still talking about a hotel that supposedly has 5 stars. As a result, I am 30 minutes late for a meeting in a place 5 minutes away from the hotel. There are plenty of good hotels in Warsaw. It is worth looking for another one.

Poor performance in everything. The room is old. I have a lamp that is not working in my room for days and I have informed the receptionist about it. Thee steam in the SPA is not working for several days and no one seems to care. The elevator is not always working properly and takes them several days to repair. The room service don't respond and when you call the reception they just say "yeah they're busy call them later. Honestly I do not understand how is this a 5 stars hotel!! Not worth your money, believe me!

You urgently need to address two major client dissasifactions. Firstly the aircon is terrible. Having travelled for 25 years to Poland, your poor climate meant I didnt sleep more than 2 hours for any of my two stays. I will not book again. Secondly, the fees added to the bill and exchange rate to Euro is also unaceptabvle. I should have checked the exchange slip before I left but you must offer to charge iun Zsloty and let the credit card company exchange. Unless I hear from colleagues there are addressed I will never stay again.

A 4/5 star hotel must stand out for its service and customer care, and this is what the Regent lacks.
Rooms:
Hotel with comfortable rooms but not a 5 star.
Spa and wellness centre:
The pool has a strange color of water obviously I didn't even try to swim.
Parking lots:
External parking spaces 6/7 few so you will have to use their garage 100 pln, no problem but at least get the invoice.
Bar:
The bar is welcoming and good products. Large relaxation area and gym equipped with all comforts.
Service:
The service, the real sore point, was totally disorganized, I reserved through booking, the amount paid was 355 pln/one night, I used the bar service for a total of 97 pln and the garage 100 pln, all paid for and transacted with a credit card, I received an invoice via email of 306 pln because at the time of check out I was told that they would send it to me via email as they were not able to do it at the moment ???.
I contacted them for three consecutive weeks by email with a copy of all the transactions carried out with my credit card, entered the last 4 digits of the credit card as requested by the structure, called nothing, total carelessness and indifference on the part of the staff and the manager who as agreed he should have contacted me again the same day after 2pm, in your opinion???
To date nothing they can't come up with is too complicated and think that it was all transacted with a credit card.
Highly not recommended, I often travel to Warsaw for work in 4/5 star hotels, like all professionals I need invoices to justify the costs, something like this has never happened, you feel helpless given the total indifference of the staff, the manager of all.
Unfortunately I booked the Regent hotel as I had an event nearby.
Bad choice and experience, better to travel a few more kilometers and stay in the center than to come here, or reserve other structures even of a lower category to have similar problems.
I wonder how is it possible to work in this way?
What a mess !!!! Highly not recommended!!!
Fortunately we weren't talking about large amounts but total indifference for a 4 or 5 star hotel is unacceptable in a city like Warsaw.

Also shampoo and conditioner... Would be good to not have to pack these items
Dear Chrissie,
yes indeed, hotel provides shampoo and conditioner, as wll as hairdryer..plus lots of other amenities.
Looking forward to seeing you in Regent Warsaw Hotel.
Bit too far to walk.Probably about 3 or 4 miles to centre.Excellent bus service available.Bus stop just out side hotel [turn right outside hotel main entrance]
Hotel Concierge will help if needed. If using local transport purchase a prepaid ticket[ticket machine by the bus stop] these proved to be excellent value and made getting on and off buses very easy.Enjoy!
