This hotel is a disgrace. Staff will lie to you to get your business. Zero ethics. They told me I could set the temp in the room as I liked, which was untrue. As a result the room was freezing cold and could hardly sleep. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

Nice room, good breakfast, pleasant experience. The location is good, right across from the big mall and the central train station. Go to the top flor and check out the view. We stayed here for several nights,

Wifi is terribly unstable and slow. There is no security peephole feature at the door to see who is outside or chain lock to slightly open the door. Aircon was noisy and takes a long time to get cold. kettle was leaking. Hotel room furniture is old and dated, only the wallpaper looks new. Bathroom is basic and old as well. Only plus is the location near to train station, mall and palace of culture and science. There is a hot tub but robes are only given for rooms in the higher class and not standard rooms. Gym equipment was modern.

Highly recommend. Prior communication: The hotel responded efficiently to emails and gave clear directions and details about how to get to the hotel from the airport. It is using bus number 175 from the airport (£0.85!) to central train station and the only thing I would suggest is that the hotel did say it was 3 min away from the stop but could have been clear the directions from once you get off the bus. As the hotel was behind the central station- which they failed to mention. Check in: we arrived early and the (oriental lady) lady at the desk was really rude. She had an unwelcoming expression on her face but a good command of English. She ignored and did not explain that she needed to help her colleague as mid way she seemed frustrated and annoyed by our questions. Usually front desk in hotels give us maps and answer questions about tourist attractions we may have but she was reluctant to help and palmed us off to the direction of a desk where there was no one to ask !! This set the mood of our holiday negatively! Hotel; the room was spacious and very clean - toilets and shower room were great. The room view was ok and we could see the street and a little bit of the cultural centre. The hotel were advocates of being green and showed through the use of a eco bottle (which you buy) with free water refills from dispensary on each floor. The dispensary had many options to the type of water such as still , room temp and sparkling were on offer. Also if you opted to not have your room cleaned you were rewarded with one drink per day (not per person). The spa was basic and nice for a city break. It was open until midnight which was fantastic and meant after all day sightseeing you can come and relax by using the sauna/ gym/ jacuzzi. There were plenty of towels and slippers water refil facilities at the spa. There was an art exhibition on the ground floor reception which had nice sofas for you to unwind and enjoy. The whole reception area was spacious and lots of seating areas with a good bar place on the ground floor. They were able to hold our luggage as we arrived before checkin and had an adapter available as I had forgotten mine! The room had high dryer and iron and iron board were available on request. The hotel was opposite a shopping centre and cultural Center - the shopping Center had fab eating options at its food court. The location was fab because all attractions were within 20/30 min of walking distance if you enjoy walking - buses seemed to be regular (although did not use) you could get bus pass for 24 hours and it be under £4.

The hotel per se is great but the service at the winestone restaurant downstairs is awful. We had to wait for 40 minutes for just a couple of wines. The waitress was ignoring us completely. The black-haired girl had the priority of attending to a bigger group next to us, and I think just culturally ignored our table for 40 mins.

Typical city center hotel experience. Good location (opposite shopping center and near the train station). Simple check in/ out, busy but not over crowded. Average sized room with mass produced art. 2* toiletries. Small bar for the size of the hotel (most tables reserved early so book ahead). Breakfast was below par and little to choose from. Fruit juices were not fresh (full of sugar), low budget cereals, etc. Staff were hit and miss in terms of friendliness.

The most amazing hotel experience, after leaving a horrendous airbnb at 1am me and my boyfriend went to the Mecure to find a room. Leszek on the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful in finding an affordable room for us as we are only students. The best customer service I’ve ever received, he was sympathetic to the situation we were in and gave us the best deal possible. The room was lovely and the location is perfect. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was very big for a city hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and put helium balloons and Prosecco with desserts for my birthday (think it cost my girlfriend a nominal amount 50 Zloty maybe?). The gym was small but had enough equipment. It was a slightly longer walk than expected to the old part of Warsaw but manageable, there’s plenty of bars, restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel anyway.
