I must admit that my visit was to the affiliated golden moon bar which unfortunately lacks a trip advisor page - a mistake I hope is soon rectified We were initially skeptical of the street salesman promoting the bar, even dismissive. However after enjoying a drink in the nearby former communist party headquarters we decided to chance it. This is a truly remarkable bar, the entertainment and crowd were of a top calibre. I made friends which I’m certain will last for years. Conversation and free drinks flowed. We were made to feel like regulars by some of the local ladies. A certain dummy thicc woman was notably hospitable Unfortunately have to knock off one star as the more rotund waitress brought a round of GHB shots we didn’t order. Will be back
i stayed at the hostel 2 nights in the summer of 2018. The price was descent for this location (which was great) but the hotel is basic. The first encounter at the reception desk was not the most favorable, but later the employees turned out to be fine. The place offer to keep the luggage if the room is not available yet witch is convenient. I would stay there again for the location.
Booked the Moon Hostel on impulse and wasn't disappointed. Was a little bit hard to find as we hired a car and finding the car park was a bit of a nightmare. Staff were really friendly and check in was quick. There is a communal kitchen that you can use and free tea/coffee and cornflakes which was a nice touch. Room was small but comfortable. Much cleaner than other hostels I have used! Bathroom was spot on and beds were comfortable. Our double room was on the front of the building so quite a lot of noise could be heard from people outside using the bar downstairs. Other than that, can't fault it. Excellent location close to the old town, and minutes walk from lovely restaurants and bars at the top of the street. Attractions are all close by, there is a convenience store a few minutes walk away and also a McDonalds. All in all I would recommend the Moon Hostel for a great place to stay in Warsaw City Centre!…
Very convenient location of the hostel. You can walk to the railway station in 10 minutes. The hostel is located in the historical part of Warsaw. You can reach the Royal Palace in 10 minutes. We had a triple room with own bathroom. Comfortable beds. Clean room and bathroom. In the hostel and room there is a very strong smell of sewerage. It's not comfortable. We opened the window, but the smell was still very strong. The bathroom has toilet paper, soap, but only one towel for three people.
My husband and I stayed in a double room here for 2 nights. It was pricier than we hoped at £33pn but the room was big, clean and comfortable. Shared Showers and toilets always free and clean. Location is good restaurants and bars nearby and a craft beer bar literally in the same building. About a 15-20 min walk to the old town. All in all a good stay
My partner & I had such a nice stay at the Moon Hostel. Everything was spotless and the location couldn't have been better. It was a little noisy at night from other guests having room gatherings, but I guess that's what you can expect at a hostel!
no good internet very slow.!!! No good food. No good bed.! A lot of noise from music from a dancing scool. the room are very smole tike the beds. I also dont like that the bathroom that is the same for men and women.
Clean hostel quiet inside . If you get a room overlooking the street it is extremely noisy .Full of bars open all night .Take some industrial strength ear plugs ,mine didn't keep any noise out . A bit off putting having to pass the reception desk to use the toilet. Imagine would be quite embarrassing if you suffer from incontinence .!!
This hostel has a good location in close proximity to the central train station. The reception is on the 3 floor of a nice looking building in a rather nice neighborhood. The reception was helpful, but when we asked they had no place where we could store items of value, such as cameras and passports. It seemed as if this was an unusual question to get, and we therefore had to cary all if our documents and electronics on us at all times. The rooms were clean and big (i stayed in a two bed room) if a little distasteful in terms of colour. The beds were alright, but there was no air condition and it got quite warm during the night. We could open a window, but sound from the kitchen would then enter and there were some really loud kids staying at the hostel. The walls are not very sound proof, so we awoke quite early when the early birds decided to grab breakfast. The kitchen was alright. One thing that i found a little weird was how the girls who cleaned up did so quite early. When we were getting ready to leave- using the bathroom and kitchen- the girls were already cleaning. I had to wait some time to use the loo, and it felt quite uncomfortable to intrude when they were cleaning. The hostel is clean and basic, and while we were there a lot of families stayed. Would probably recommend to families with kids and early birds. The wifi was not very good, but that is to be expected with such cheap prices. …
Me and two other friends stayed here in Warsaw during December for 2 nights. It was really cheap. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious despite 3 of us in one room. The showers and toilets were also clean and the women at the reception desk were cheerful and helpful. The communal kitchen is also very nice. It is a good location for the centre of things.
