Outstanding. Lovely room, great service, really nice spa and pool. Breakfast was high quality. Location is good. Spa treatments where not world class like everything else but completely satisfactory. Only problem was the last night of our visit when the aircon stopped working. They did however sort that out by transferring us to another room. Overall great for a luxury getaway!

Perfect location - close to lots of restaurants and shops. Very stylish interior of the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious with everything you could need. Very rich and delicious breakfast and good meals in general. Loved the pool and that it was open even late in the evening.

Such a perfect hotel for a city break. I was not sure what to expect, but this hotel in a local landmark building exceeded all my expectations. We stayed for 4 nights and were immediately impressed by the stone, marble, copper and wood of the industrial chic design. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It did not matter at all that it was inward facing. The spa and pool were relaxing, healing spaces and not at all busy. Breakfast was a large cold buffet with top local produce and a fruit/veg juicer. Hot items could be ordered. Dinner on the top terrace was interesting small plates of fine dining. We also ate a dinner in the lower main restaurant and again were impressed by the food. Location is excellent with a short walk to the historic Old Town or to the banks of the river. We did not need to take any public transport and airport taxis were reasonable in price. This is a hotel of quality, generosity and friendliness where we felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay in this fascinating city.

Excellent service, 24/7 bar where you can have some snacks and I guess the only place in the city with a 24h swimming pool. Room itself spacious. It has ultra comfortable bed and pillows. in the bathroom there is a shower and a comfortable tub. high quality cosmetics. The high standard of the services provided is maintained all the time.

The rigorous design begins and ends with the hotel’s appearance. Once one is inside everything changes immediately. Smiles at the reception just prove Niels Bohr’s discovery about Polish girls’ beauty. The urban and minimalist design accompany you everywhere, but it only underlines the hotel’s charm. Breathtaking view, very good amenities inside and skilled cleaning compose a comfortable staying. Spa zone is so cozy and relaxing, a small gym services those who need emotions. Restaurants is another story. Warszawska gives you a nice breakfast with a «breakfast board» - a local know-how and a Polish cuisine in the evenings. Szóstka being so stylish (what is so typical for Hotel Warszawa!) attracts one by a tasting menu (highly recommended, beef tartar was a dream!). But…: the cigar lounge alongside with a bar… dreams came true…! Unforgettable first time visit.

The hotel is luxurious, has a boutique feel and everything about the design and decor is 5 star+. However, our weekend family stay got off to a bad start when the reception didn’t have our reservation. There was no apology and almost an attitude by the unfriendly and arrogant young lady at reception of it being my fault. At breakfast the next day, the restaurant and the quality of the food was excellent but the staff were untrained, unfriendly and on occasion could not communicate in Polish or English. Food was removed from our table when we were half way through, nobody explained the concept, ie no buffet, which was great and what could have been a wonderful experience, was let down by the staff. They saved the best for last at checkout. I was asked if I had anything from the minibar. I replied to say that I had not but reminded the lady that we had drinks at the bar that should be added to our bill. I was then shocked to be told that I would now have to wait to checkout whilst a member of staff checked the minibar in my room. I felt like a criminal at a 1 star hotel in a mass tourist resort. Again, not what you expect from a 5 star boutique hotel paying USD 300 a night and having reminded them of my bar bill. One, more senior member of staff ultimately realized my frustration and took over the checkout process, although by this point, the damage was done. Really disappointing to see this beautiful and luxurious hotel ruined by staff with no training but most of all with such an arrogant attitude that it made the whole experience feel very uncomfortable. The doormen were however extremely polite and helpful. Not enjoying writing such a negative review, I truly hope managements take action as we have been staying and eating at hotels in the Likus chain for years and have always had an enjoyable experience until hotel Warszawa.

The place is gorgeous, I have reserved it as a birthday gift for my sister, who loved her stay - the only thing was the reception being very unorganised. I have paid for everything upfront, yet my sister was quizzed upon arrival and had to provide all sorts of proof ( beyond the usual name and email address which is of course the norm ) to then be told they can't locate the reservation and no room is ready so she has to wait until they find the booking. She was then charged for the bottle of Prosecco I already paid for in advance - those sort of mishaps should not be happening in a high end hotel, especially when I took the time to get everything organised in advance and paid for way before my sisters arrival.

As an "old" Varsovian, that is, a person who was born and lived there for the first 25 years of his life, I am blessed with a unique perspective to asses the time evolution of some of the older (50 years or more) city hotels along with their standards. In case of "Warszawa", the edifice currently hosting the hotel was originally erected in 1933 and at the time boasted the title of the tallest building in Warsaw. Even though today there are many much taller scyscrapers in the Polish capital, the 17-story hotel still dominates the Warsaw Uprising Square (Plac Powstańców Warszawy), where it is situated. Following the WW II damages and ad-hoc renovation in early 1950's, it served as a hotel in the years 1954-2002, but not particularly attractive at that. It was subjected to another renovation and thorough refurbishment that were completed in 2018, this time returning the fasade to the original art-deco architectural styling. The interior is rendered in my favorite, Hilton-type "understated elegance" style. I was particularly impressed by the bathroom in my chamber, featuring as many as five different pieces of sanitary equipment: a toilet, a bidet, a washbasin, a huge bathtub and a separate shower cabin. A beautiful, heated marble floor complemented the luxury. My room was on 5th floor facing East, although I would prefer a higher floor for the sake of more extensive panorama. The hotel staff was extremly polite and helpful right fom the start. I availed myself a few times of their gastronomical offer: on the evening of my arrival a room-service supper comprising mini pierogi in broth, steak tartare accompanied by a good, coarse Polish bread and the obligatory shot of ice-cold Polish vodka. Then the next morning, a copious breakfast, and dinner in the afternoon. The à la carte meal choices were of what I would call a "nouvelle cuisine polonaise"; tasty but not very big portions and not too heavy on the stomach - just right for a late-middle-age folk that I am. The hotel offers a limo service from/to the Warsaw airport and - with a bit of luck - you may even get a ride in a Rolls-Royce!
