My first time in an IBIS Styles Hotel and I was surprised at the high level of equipment in the Executive Suite. Free breakfast is also a plus - which was of good quality. The location is close to the Station and has easy access to the City's transport including Trams and Busses.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. Our room was on the 11th floor and had a nice view from big windows. Unfortunately our room didn't have refrigerator, shoehorn or bottle opener. Bathroom wall was transparent (made of glass) and therefore it was not very comfortable to use the toilet as your companion could see you from the mirror in the bed. Overall design was great. What was odd that there was a sticker on the bathroom wall that advised to not use the hair dryer. I didn't use it, so I do not know what would've happened if I had tried to use it. :) Carpet on the floor could have been cleaner (for example there were some dead flies on the floor of our room). Hotel offers room service only upon request (due to the COVID-19). Breakfast was served in a restaurant on the 7th floor with a great view. Variety of breakfast was okay and everything was quite tasty. Location of the hotel is great. I guess stops of public transport are nearby, but we decided to walk and use rental electric scooters and I can confirm that you can get to old town, great restaurants, shopping centres etc by foot or by electric scooters as well. There is a restaurant Munja with great service next to the hotel.…
We were upgraded to a great corner room on the top floor (1201) with floor to ceiling windows offering fantastic views over the city. It’s the kind of room that you video call family to show them the view (which we did!) We liked it so much that we spontaneously stayed on another night. The hotel is well located, once you find it! Google maps put us wrong and we ended up wandering around for a frustrating hour in the rain at night looking for the hotel. A suggestion to the hotel: please include better location details on your website. It’s really easy to get to from the train and bus stations, a 10-15 min walk, so long as you know which way to go! But once we found it, we were bowled over. It’s ultra modern and a very stylish design throughout. The hotel is a new tower in the middle of what was once the Warsaw Ghetto so those who know a little about the history of the city will find the brick buildings and wall just outside quite sobering. The room, which had a cool design, offered a fridge, great WiFi, aircon, but surprisingly no safe. Surprisingly too, it was totally quiet - we didn’t hear a thing from outside or inside. It was as if we were in the hotel completely by ourselves when we were in the room. Our king size bed was extremely comfy and we slept very well. Spacious bathroom, loved the orange wall. Great breakfast buffet, especially if you get there early. We stayed during a busy summer weekend. On the first morning we arrived at the buffet at 9.30 and it was a bit chaotic with people everywhere. On the second morning, one of the friendly staff members advised us to come as early as possible. Very good advice as we came at 8 and there weren’t many people there and there were lots of food options, like cake, pastries and a wider bread selection that had long gone the day before. The staff were working hard to make sure everything was replenished. We also tried the in-house restaurant, Munja, recommended by the receptionist… twice. Great food, great service.…
Perfect location close to many historical sites and the modern city centre. Clean, spacious rooms with a perfect view. My corner room 1001 was amazing! And the bed was a dream! Coffe and tea in the room, water and a drink were also a nice touch. Delicious breakfast buffet with all the covid-19 protocols to be safe. Possible to order room service from a nearby restaurant and 24 hs bar in the lobby. Very friendly and helfull staff. Would definetly come back and recommend this hotel! Thank you for a wonderfull stay!
We had rooms in the top floors with a pleasant view towards the north. The breakfast menu was extensive enough that we didn't get bored after five days. More choices appeared on the weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated help finding a testing centre and getting a packed breakfast when leaving super early. For that category a great hotel with nice people looking after its guests. The area is rather quiet, but the tram which takes you to the city centre isn't far away.
