Well where can I start. After missing our flight to Warsaw and then arriving after a 16hour travel journey we were thankful to finally get into a taxi and go straight to the hotel and bed. We got into an Über taxi (preferred transport, much cheaper than a taxi) and the nice Über driver said 'may i ask why you chose this specific hotel? As it's in a very 'rough' and 'high crime rate area' a very popular area to deal drugs'. My face dropped. What the hell I'm I doing here. Looked at my partner and said 'happy 30th birthday, we're officially going to a crack den'. Anyway, as we arrive the Über takes you straight to the door, the hotel looks very clean and tidy. Ignoring the dark alleyway next to it. Arriving our room we were very surprised, the apartment itself is exactly what was advertised, clean, spacious, warm and lovely. The apartment provided everything you would need, and the receptionist who was helpful-ish provided us with more towels. The only thing is the location. Its a good 20 minutes to city centre by Über and about 25 minutes to old town (a must). You can walk to the tram but i thought i would get stabbed o'n the way so we avoided that. Wouldnt go again due to location but it was so cheap you can't really complain. You live and learn i guess.…
We were a little concerned about staying here because of mixed reviews? It was fabulous. Huge apartment, very clean, warm and very, very comfortable. There was even complimentary tea, coffee, sugar. We would definitely recommend and definitely return. If you are wanting to visit the beautiful old town of Warsaw you can catch the number 24 tram from the tram station which is only a short walk from the hotel. You need a credit card to purchase tickets on the tram and you pay for 20 minute journey. Poland is full of history and would probably suit everyone, shopping, culture and lovely parks.
We were slightly apprehensive about our stay after seeing some poor reviews and photos but we could not fault the apartment. It was clean, warm and big. The beds and pillows were super comfy, with spare bedding in the wardrobes. Showers really good and nice kitchen area with fridge, cooker and dishwasher. There were no towels on arrival but the staff provided them as soon as we asked. Staff were very helpful and friendly enough. We stayed for 3 nights and could happily stay longer. It is 25 minutes on tram from the royal castle and about 15 from the palace of culture. Trams come around every 5 minutes, if not sooner and are very cheap - around 75p each for a single journey. The main stop near the apartment is Gocławek- 5 minute walk across the road bridge . You can buy tickets on the tram or at the stop, but we didn’t have our tickets checked once. I would recommend downloading the ‘Warsaw public transport pro’ app, it costs 99p but was so easy to see the tram routes and how to get around- saved us a lot of time and stress. There is quite a few shops around the apartment for getting stuff in for snacks/ breakfast and a pizzeria next to the fuel station , which was so delicious and very good price = XXL for 42 zl which is like £8. …
The apartment we had was exactly what was needed for a weekend away. It was clean and warm. Free WIFI and the beds were comfortable (although the pillows are poor). There is a large hypermarket 5 mins walk from the apartment if you want to pick anything up for your stay. People correctly mention that the apartment is a fair way from the city (20 mins) but we were prepared for this and actually didn't find it a problem. There is a tram service on one side of the apartments (4 mins walk) and the 158 bus on the other side which drops you outside the central station. Staff were also helpful could speak a good amount of English.
We were devastated to have been given this as our accommodation from the tour operator. The area is not a good area with drugs being dealt outside and unsavoury characters around. The apartments are a good distance from the centre of Warsaw and the public transport difficult. Luckily Uber was our saving grace with efficiency and lower cost to regular taxis . Once in the building there is an unusual smell. Not sure what the smell is. Receptionist hardly speaks English so was unable to guide us about where to go. Seemed unaware of where the Christmas markets were which was the purpose of our visit. We were allocated a double bed although we thought it was twin beds. There are no rooms with this apparently. The bed is very uncomfortable and dreadful pillows. The apartment was clean and warm which was its only positives. There are no vending machines and no catering facilities on site. Thankfully we only stayed here 2 nights.…
We won this trip on an online raffle so we didn’t expect a lot to be honest. We were pleasantly surprised! On arrival, check in was nice and easy, although had to pay for parking which turned out to be very cheap indeed. The apartment was lovely, had everything that you needed for a very enjoyable stay. The person on the desk was very helpful. There is a supermarket around the corner which was well stocked and again quite cheap. There is also a larger shopping centre close by which sells everything!! The end of tram line/station is around the corner, so no problems in remembering where to get off. The tram travel is brilliant, 25 minutes into the centre on Warsaw itself, 3.40 zl (75p). Very clean and often! Would definitely stay there again!
Currently staying here and although the apartment is lovely and clean there is no actual bed with mattress! We have been trying to sleep on a bed base with a yoga mat that doesn’t fit so I’ve ended up on sofa and my partner has been sleeping on the floor. Have asked twice if we can get a mattress but the staff don’t want to help. If you enjoy sleeping DON’T book here!!!
This hotel is good for families and couples too. It is close to a bus station. Here are shops, restaurant. The staff is friendly and so kind. This apartman was huge, clean. WE had a kitchen (fridge, micro, pots, cutlery...), living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, TV, free wifi, kettle..). WE liked it.
I'm currently staying here. This is a one bedroom apartment on the fourth floor. First, it's clean and comfortable. It's not near (walking distance) of the major sites, but since I rented a car this is not a problem. As a furnished apartment, it has a small stocked kitchen, living area, nice closet and large bathroom. Bed is comfortable. There is a small grocery store very near it good place to pickup stuff for breakfast. Parking is extra, but you can park on the street in front. I'm not sure if it has air conditioning since I'm here in May.
