The Castle Inn is situated right next to the royal Catle and some public toilets. The interior is what can be described as "exoctic" the room decoration of our room (18) was brilliant in red, black and grey and must have taken weeks to paint The staff on the whole are polite and helpful. Unfortunately the young lady who prepares the breakfasts is not the sharpest knife in the box! From declaring that there was no coffee available becuause the machine had broken to burning the stale croissant. My wife had to ask for a mug of hot water in which to tip the instant coffee sachet into (from our room), not rocket science! On the ground floor and sometimes in our room there was a smell of sewage which the hotel management need to get sorted out. Whether this was from the public WCs next door or just bad drains I don't know. The dinning room is too small for the establishment and the tables impossible to sit close up to because they all have box displays built into the table top. I would stay there again as it is perfectly located in the Old Town and not massively expensive. Sort the smell and breakfast girl out and it would be perfect. I think that is a fair review and truthful.

Hotel has amazing location just in front of the royal castle, in the old city. We had a room with good view on the square.
Rooms have slightly unusual and eccentric designs, but it's a hotel special feature. Room was big enough, bathroom quite modern, everything was clean.
Due to the thick walls, room was very quiet. Mattress and pillow were good and they compensated a little bit bad impression from old wooden frame of the bed
Furniture is old, and when the look of the old wooden bed is cute, the sound of loud creaking is annoying, especially during the night.
Breakfast, comparing to usual meal in Polish hotels, is miserable. Girl, who served it, was very friendly and helpful, but food - awful.
There is also unpleadant smell on the downfloor

The hotel is centrally located, and there is no better location in Warsaw than this. However, the downside of the hotel is the staff. room is ok, we took better room. Before arriving at the hotel, the staff did not respond to emails. The reception staff is okay but could be friendlier. The girl who prepares breakfast is very gloomy, has a dark demeanor, and behaves in a disrespectful way towards the guests. She tries to irritate you with whatever she does. She is very slow. The hotel is okay, but she and her energy overshadow the good memories of the hotel and its location. People like her should not be doing this job. The breakfast is very modest; one day, there is no fruit, the next day, no coffee... The rooms are cleaned upon request, instead of being cleaned every morning.

Located on the 1st floor above a restaurant and a public toilet. Inside it is noisy and the staff disinterested and unfriendly. Rooms are cleaned only on request which absolutely did not work. Especially bad was the breakfast which consisted almost only of plastic packaging. (jam honey cheese) Again, very service was poor and unfriendly.

I can’t lie, this was a tough stay. I’ve traveled a lot, stayed in a wide range of places, and this was one of the least inviting. It wasn’t smaller than any other small hotel room but my god, it was outdated. There’s a difference between charming/authentic and old/pushing it. The room was this awful green color, the bed frame was about 4 inches off the ground with this super strange tall frame with headboards on both sides from the 1920’s. I’m American, and some of it could have been cultural differences, but I could barely stand to be in the room, it was so weird. I forfeited my last day in this hotel due to the no refund policy because I disliked it so much. It was the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert so the prices must have been hiked up, but I paid almost $900.00 for 4 nights which feels absolutely insane for what I got. I was aware there was no A/C in the room so can’t complain about the heat. I opened the window for 15 minutes and so many moths came in that I stayed up an hour extra to kill all the tiny moths that were landing on my face while I was trying to sleep. I will say the location was fantastic, and the other rooms online look way nicer than my room. I work in service and I know what reviews mean so it’s weird for me to write a poor one but my authentic albeit american suggestion is not to stay here.

Upon arrival at the hotel nobody answered the intercom for long enough for us to question if we had the right address.
Receptionist not friendly to us upon check-in.
Keys are given to guests and our lock to Room 14 was dodgy as to when it would unlock or not. Although our room is located next to the reception desk not once did a member of staff offer to assist.
Continental breakfast is pleasant and the coffee is good.
Cleanliness is a basic standard.
Poor standard of lighting in the bedroom. Cheap laminate flooring which I imagine will make the room extra chilly during the Polish winters.

The location is just perfect,in the middle of the action, short walk to many interesting places,so no need to pay for a transport as we walked almost everywhere. But,...there is a noise from the outside, people singing in the middle of the night, church bells at really strange time etc etc. The place is not a luxury but it offers small rooms, with basic equipment, the bathroom was actually really good size. The bed was comfortable but due to very hot temperature outside and no air con ,we struggled with sleeping. We didn't pay for breakfast as there are few very good caffees nearby and we went there (Patio and Green coffee Nero ) The only thing I need to mention is...the ladies in the reception should be more open, friendly and welcoming, as a big smile goes a long way and during our 3 nights stay ....they were not smiling at all.

Small hotel in perfect location. The old town spreads around the hotel. The rooms are very simple but have everything you need. Large rooms and bathrooms. The reception is open 24 hours a day and is happy to help with any problems.

Good hotel in the heart of the tourist sites and old town. Truly, the location could not have been better. For the most part the rooms are quiet, but you do hear footsteps from the suites above. Rates were very reasonable for the location and check-in and check-out was seamless.
The hotel is a close walk to central city transit and tram lines and there are plenty of restaurant selections at your doorstep.
Tip: Take the 175 city bus from the Warsaw Chopin Airport to Plac Piłsudskiego stop (end of the line) and walk a scenic 600 metres to the hotel.

The service was nice and friendly. You can't beat the location as there aren't a lot of accommodations in or around the old town area. This hotel is literally inside the old town. That means you must walk to the hotel from the nearest street (it's not that far). The rooms are certainly quirky as other reviews attest. Parking can be a bit of an issue, as you will have to find street parking nearby (the closest lot was under construction while I was there). I was able to consistently find a spot, but sometimes required circling the block. The parking pay stations are pretty easy to use and don't really have any time limits.

Hi! It is possible to request for the specific room, depending on availability, just get in contact with the hotel in advance, they are really helpful, informative and friendly.
There is a statement at their website:
Specific room - Please be informed that on-line booking only allows you to reserve a room of certain standard. If you want to book a specific room, please contact our office – e-mail: castleinn@castleinn.pl ; phone: +48 22 425 01 00. However, the booking cost increases by 10%.
I arranged for VIP Car Service from the hotel to the airport and the driver met me in the lobby and took my bags to car waiting on corner of plaza right at hotel. I am assuming that the hotel could also arrange that for airport pickup as well. The staff all speak excellent English and are very customer service oriented.
When I arrived at the hotel I dragged my suitcases to a landing and then went upstairs to reception to ask for help with my bags. They were very accommodating.
There are more places to choose from in the Warsaw area.
