Hotel meeting was an ideal location for our needs. Hotel could do with some basic amenities in rooms like tea/ coffee makers. The other issue i had was cleanliness, bed sheets were never changed during our stay, so made me wonder if they were changed before us, towel left on day two was stained so had to take back to reception to change it. No restaurants on site. The plus side were the ladies on reception were very curteous and helpful, especially when we needed help with taxis to get back to the hotel.

We stayed here while my son competed at a competition at the ice rink next door. It was very convenient. Would have benefited by having a restaurant on site. I was impressed that on one of the mornings when we were at the rink at the time of breakfast so missed it, the lady in the kitchen was prepared to cook him some scrambled eggs and he had that with some sausages and olives that were left. On another night the receptionist was very helpful in ordering a pizza take away for us. She arranged for them to cook me a vegan pizza too that wasn’t actually on their menu. However I have to say that the standard breakfast that we paid for was not vegan friendly at all. I managed with the salad garnish and some bread with jam. No veggie spread, no soya milks etc. No cooked vegetable which was very disappointing. I can usually get a vegan breakfast out of a full English selection, by just leaving out the meat and eggs, but here that is all there was. Overall the benefit of walking easily to the rink outweighed the food limitations, but we had bought a suitcase full of pot noodles and a kettle with us. Happy with our stay

We stayed for one night and although the hotel has all the facilities, it is more like school hostel. The rooms are spacious and the staff helpfull. The location is , about 25 min, walking from the old town. Good for a one night stay.

I'd booked three twin rooms at Hotel Meeting for a small group of friends attending an event nearby - for two nights. The hotel is very easy to find on the outskirts of Old Town and has plenty of free parking. We arrived around 1pm and were a little early for the published 3pm check-in and was asked to return then. Initially the lady at reception had trouble locating all our bookings, but on our return, all was ok and sorted. The rooms are quite small and basic, but functional and very clean. The bathroom was relatively large, modern and had a large shower rather than bath and shower. The complimentary soaps and shower gels are pretty poor - just the tear-off packet type, but I only noticed that as I'd forgotten to take my own. There's a supermarket right across the road, so it was easy enough to stock-up. No refreshment facilities in the room, but there's a vending machine for coffee in reception. It's a short walk to the Old Town - I would guess 20 mins, or you could take a taxi - that was very reasonable at around 10zl (2017). It was a bit disappointing to read on here, prior to writing this review, that the hotel catered for breakfasts. Nothing was mentioned at check-in and no mention of any kind of catering/restaurant around reception. We headed to town each day, but it would have been nice to have known. Overall, Hotel Meeting is very good value if you just want something functional and clean. It is what it is - a hotel bolted on to a sports/conference facility, but I would be happy to recommend and would happily stay there again should we find ourselves in Torun.
