Molus Apartments in a historic, 16th century tenement house located in the heart of Toruń’s Old Town, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The renovation of the building was awarded the Statuette of Coat of Arms of Toruń by the Mayor of the City Today, tourists can enjoy the calm, reflective atmosphere of historic interiors and delight with magnificent polychrome ceilings, which, according to conservationists, are an invaluable treasure. In the intimate interiors of the building there are eight spacious apartments decorated in a unique style. From their windows you can enjoy the view of the Town Hall and the bustling Old Town. The central location means it only a few steps away from the monuments of Toruń. The awareness that we are surrounded by walls that have survived several centuries and have seen many things, stimulates the imagination a lot. This place is unique, which you can find out about by spending your free time in Molus Apartments. We will be pleased to welcome you in our Apartments.

Detailed Reviews
Are you tired of boring design of hotel rooms? Well, this is something really special. Small merchant house from the sixteenth century, perfectly renovated, facing the Central Town Square of old Torun.
I was enjoying 90 (yes, ninety! ) square meter appartment, with fantastic frescos on the ceiling, dated 1675. Ulimate luxury in a unique settings at a decent price. The cafe downstairs is equally amusing. There are only four appartments in this house, each occupies one floor. I stayed on the first floor, and had no kitchen facilities. Please note that because of the wooden construction each step of your neighbours can be heard. Fortunately all activities ceased after 11pm.
My room was not serviced during my 3-nights stay, so no new tea bags, water or coffee was delivered. This was a flaw, just an ounce of the extra effort would make my stay even more luxurious.
Breakfest (paid extra) is served at the cafe downstairs or you can order it to your room. Unfortunately there is no buffet and you have no choice, so it may be a better idea to order your favourite food from the menu.
In summary, this was the most amazing hotel I ever stayed at, Whenever I come back to Torun, this will be my first choice.

Apartamenty Molus is a stunning 4 storey tenement with 4 apartments above a restaurant cafe sitting on Torun's main square . The view from the windows alone is worth the money but the apartments themselves are luxurious, and huge. They contain a huge living room/kitchen area beautifully furnished and with a huge flat screen tv , fridge, and cooking facilities. The bathroom is huge and again contains a huge rolltop bath/shower , a washer/dryer and hairdryer . The bedroom area had a giant double bed and two large wardrobes a dressing table and a door which takes you out into a small patio which overlooks the courtyard part at the back of the restaurant .
To stay in this amazing accommodation cost us only £104 for 3 nights and we paid an extra few zloty for breakfast which could be taken in your room or downstairs in the restaurant. It was huge and consisted of a range of cheeses , ham, eggs, salad , bread, orange juice and coffee. They will also alter this at you request or if you for example don't eat cheese . The staff had reasonable English and were very helpful throughout , they allowed us to leave our bags in the restaurant after we had checked out , and were always on hand if you needed anything like a bottle opener or things to take up to the apartment . I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation which you would struggle to find at anywhere near this price on any other city break . We were on a budget with cheap Ryanair flights and really didn't expect to find a gem like this.

Those apartments have perfect location in the same heart of Old Town in front of City Hall. Great view from the largest apartment. If you are by car I suggest to buy a stay without parking as no matter what you need to collect parking card. There is nice, secure and cheap parking near Wisla river, bridge and hotel Bulwar.

Located in the very heart of Toruń, this appartment provides all kind of facilities for a reasonable price. Good option to visit the lovely town on foot from here. The room is bigger than anyone I previously stayed and it is in an historical building.

I spent 5 nights in one of Jadwiga's huge, heritage listed apartments in the centre of Torun's Old Town. The apartment was unique, beautiful and extremely comfortable. It was perfectly positioned, just a short walk from most of the major attractions. Swedish style breakfasts were provided each morning and the food was superb: fresh, colourful and delicious. In addition, Jadwiga organised special gluten free bread for me as I am coeliac. On my last day the food preparation ladies invited me to make up extra sandwiches to eat on the bus and even provided me with a bottle of cool water. Jadwiga and her staff don't speak English but we managed to communicate in spite of the language barrier. Friendliness, sincere warmth and kindness "speak volumes". Dziękuję Jadwiga. Miliony podziękowań i życzeń powodzeni !!!

Stayed at the Molus for three nights and was so glad I did. This is a UNESCO tenement building totally refurbished and its truly superb. I was on the first floor overlooking directly the market square. The room was large with a huge bed and it had a delightful tapestry ceiling. The bathroom was a good size . The floorboards were creaky but this just added to the charm and character of the place. The room possessed a fridge and tea making facilities. Breakfast was in the hallway; it was mainly continental with a good selection and scrambled eggs were made freshly.
Downstairs is a lovely cafe selling gorgeous pastries and cakes.
A wonderful place to stay . Torun is a beautiful city well worth a visit.
I would not hesitate to say at Molus again and thoroughly recommend it to travellers.

It's beautiful in an old part of the town it's an old building the shower was the best shower I've had in a long time the whole room was spotless and spacious,
Bad ppints it's noisy the floor boards creek not just in our appartment but everybody's . They kept having power cuts .
The breakfast was ok a large selection of cheeses and hams etc and the scambled egg was gorgeous hot dog sausages and streaky bacon , it was weird in eating corridors outside someone else's room tho but cosy you do get the option of having it in your room. And not the best view as we were over looking the restaurant downstairs but would def stay again.

Great, great view from the balcony and a stunning historical location.
Too bad we could hear other guests coming and going in the apartment below because there was no actual wall but just a wooden door between the two apartments.
The noises from below were so clear and loud that it was like having the other guests in our own flat.
But still nothing compared to such an unacceptable staff.
On the day of my arrival, they sent me a text in polish (I had to translate it myself using google translator) to ask me when I was going to check-in, and I answered them in english. No answer ever returned.
After some hours, a girl called me on my phone and, speaking in english, asked me again about my arrival and told me that I was going to find nobody speaking english at the reception.
After being checked-in by a woman who counldn't speak a word in english, that same girl called me again on the phone to tell me that I had to pay the second half of the fee to complete the payment my credit card had been charged with.
Although, for the second time, instead of taking care herself of an even more delicate matter as payments can be, she told me that I had to do that on the next day, after breakfast, with a second girl who couldn't speak english.
Can you believe it?
I had to communicate with gestures in order to be understood... the only thing clear, is that she was provided with no money at all, and so I was supposed to give her the exact amount with no change available.
I gave up even getting angry and feeling foolish and had a walk around in search of a "kantor".
Unacceptable. Plane and simple.

Something must have happened since 2015 when most of the (very positive) reviews about this establishment were written. Perhaps it is under new management, perhaps something else had occurred, the upshot is that even though the potential for a glorious stay is still there, the potential is no longer realized. This is a beautifully renovated 16th century building divided into 6 apartments furnished in period style. It islocated right at the heart of town and close to restaurants, landmarks and cafe/bars. Sadly there are too many glitches which compromise the value. The folks who run the place are nice but communicating with them is difficult since they only speak Polish (which after traveling for a month in Poland this is quite unusual). The staff don't actually stay at the building and only shows up to let you in (you have to call to alert them upon arrival so you better have a local phone), to serve you breakfast and to collect payment upon checkout. The establishment no longer owns the attached restaurant so breakfast arrives to guests' apartments and include one cup of semi-warm coffee and a plate on which some eggs, cold cuts and cheese are piled up together. There are no choices so if you happen to be allergic, or have some food disorder you end up w/out. The bed is a large and beautiful period piece, but the mattress needs to be changed asap. There is a washing machine, which is a lovely idea but no place to hang your clothes to dry. One thing to remember is that the walls between the upstairs large apartments are very thin. If you are unlucky to have very noisy guests next door, your sleep will be seriously compromised.

"I'm guessing that the 2nd floor room we had was the best. Wonderful view of the square and fewer steps to climb than the two floors above us. Also, not all have kitchenettes."Read full review
