Extra double beds in reality are two beds made into one with 4 mattresses - unpleasant to sleep or hug with partner. No hot water, cold at night, curtains not cover windows properly, chambers pots everywhere.
I spent 5 nights in one of Jadwiga's huge, heritage listed apartments in the centre of Torun's Old Town. The apartment was unique, beautiful and extremely comfortable. It was perfectly positioned, just a short walk from most of the major attractions. Swedish style breakfasts were provided each morning and the food was superb: fresh, colourful and delicious. In addition, Jadwiga organised special gluten free bread for me as I am coeliac. On my last day the food preparation ladies invited me to make up extra sandwiches to eat on the bus and even provided me with a bottle of cool water. Jadwiga and her staff don't speak English but we managed to communicate in spite of the language barrier. Friendliness, sincere warmth and kindness "speak volumes". Dziękuję Jadwiga. Miliony podziękowań i życzeń powodzeni !!!…
We stayed 3 nights whilst competing in an athletics event in Toruń, the apartments are located in the heart of old Torun which is a very historic and pleasant area with access to lots of dining options and good cafes. The proprietors of these apartments could not have been more friendly or attentive and our apartment was excellent, as was the morning breakfast included with the booking. I would very happily stay here again in future without hesitation and speaking to other guests at breakfast it was the same feedback from them too.
We stayed here during recent athletics tournament, choosing to stay centrally. On arrival we discovered that we were staying in an apartment just a 2 min walk away from the square so initially a little cautious! Needn't have worried, the apartment looked like it had literally been finished, with a large bedroom and good sized living area which had a sofa bed. Kitchen area well stocked for the stay and fridge freezer to get your own items from the shop next door. Very warm despite cool weather, but also very quiet despite being close to the main square and restaurants along the row. Walked back to the apartments above the cafe for plentiful breakfast hosted by a lady of great spirit and quirky way of looking after you, buffet food and drink service. The attached coffee shop is a little gem, great coffee and stocked with huge array of cakes, and you get discount as a resident-good place to sit and watch the world pass in the front window. Restaurants and nightlife 2mins away from both places as are all the touristy things to go and see, lovely little town with a great vibe and amazing Pierniczki to try and buy! You can cover most things off within 2 or 3 days…
Stayed at the Molus for three nights and was so glad I did. This is a UNESCO tenement building totally refurbished and its truly superb. I was on the first floor overlooking directly the market square. The room was large with a huge bed and it had a delightful tapestry ceiling. The bathroom was a good size . The floorboards were creaky but this just added to the charm and character of the place. The room possessed a fridge and tea making facilities. Breakfast was in the hallway; it was mainly continental with a good selection and scrambled eggs were made freshly. Downstairs is a lovely cafe selling gorgeous pastries and cakes. A wonderful place to stay . Torun is a beautiful city well worth a visit. I would not hesitate to say at Molus again and thoroughly recommend it to travellers.…
It's beautiful in an old part of the town it's an old building the shower was the best shower I've had in a long time the whole room was spotless and spacious, Bad ppints it's noisy the floor boards creek not just in our appartment but everybody's . They kept having power cuts . The breakfast was ok a large selection of cheeses and hams etc and the scambled egg was gorgeous hot dog sausages and streaky bacon , it was weird in eating corridors outside someone else's room tho but cosy you do get the option of having it in your room. And not the best view as we were over looking the restaurant downstairs but would def stay again.
This is a great little place that allows you to become part of the Old Town as you're slap bang in the middle of it. Great buffet breakfast as well. What's not to love? Of course it is an old building so has the draw backs that you should expect like the creaky floorboards.
It is in the heart of the old city, with a window with an amzing view (day and night) of the old city center and cathedral. The apartment was very well furnished with everything you need from a short to a long stay.
Rarely do I stay in a place that is so full of history. Not that I don't like it, on the countrary, it is mostly crazy expensive. But not Apartamenty Molus. It is a real historical house on the very own Main Square (Rynek Staromiejski), quite spacious with unique furniture. Our back room was gorgeous, can't even emagine what the front room looks like!
Those apartments have perfect location in the same heart of Old Town in front of City Hall. Great view from the largest apartment. If you are by car I suggest to buy a stay without parking as no matter what you need to collect parking card. There is nice, secure and cheap parking near Wisla river, bridge and hotel Bulwar.
