Like a beautiful life partner, you soon find “looks” aren’t everything. This hotel is, on the outside & in the interior, sleek and modern. But, functionally, it falls short in MANY ways; Travel Advisor doesn’t allow me to elaborate how bad.
Perfect organisation and happy guests thanks to the menager and the waiting staff.Everything planned precisely so that our daughter culd have fully enjoyed her wedding party. We -the parents- are very grateful for having organised this event at your hotel.
Great Location , just attached to old town, room with nice view, clean and quite big. Breakfast could be better but it is not about eating. Big plus for location and service. SPA area clean and quiet.
Really nice hotel located just off the River Vistula and only a minutes walk from the stunning centre of Torun. The hotel rooms were very spacious, contemporary and clean. The location is superb for a good nights sleep. The bar staff were great and the breakfast was just superb.
This is very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. Its located very close to the historical centre of the city and some rooms have a view over the river. The rooms have good beds and reasonable internet connection if you need to work. Breakfast is also very good. The staff are very helpfuI and I would definitely stay here again.
This is a pleasant hotel housed in two buildings: an old, oblong, barracks-looking "dormitory" (where the rooms are) and a brand new, circular-shape construction for a foyer, restaurant, meeting rooms, spa-sauna, etc. The rooms are very nice, the restaurant noncommittal, but this is Poland, so that's good. The breakfast is generous, the staff are very friendly and pleasant. The location is excellent if you arrive by car (the hotel has its own parking) and involves a bit of a walk from the two relevant stations (Torun Miasto is a bit closer and a more pleasant walk).
Stayed here as part of a Collette Tour all around Poland. This is a great hotel, spacious rooms, clean, and friendly staff. Modern lobby. Excellent location for walking all around town, hotel room have pretty views if your facing the bridge and river. .
Parking outside sufficient and convenient. Staff at the reception friendly and help-full. Rooms a little minimalistic organised, as an example.... there were not any cotton swabs or buds to clean your ears after showering. Wrong stinginess in my honest opinion, you may expect more from this level of hotel. Sylwester evening food was nothing special, regular food, again....you may expect more from this level of Hotel. Music and dancing very nice.
This is an amazing hotel built into the defence wall that surrounds the medieval city. I had arrow slits ( double glazed ) in my room which oozed quality. The stairs, corridors and open brickwork are lovely. I took the stairs rather than the lift to enjoy it. Friendly staff and a great spot to wander round the old town to some lovely and very reasonably priced restaurants. And now the bad bit. Breakfast is self service which is fine - but the plates are cold. This is a schoolboy error. I never serve hot food on a cold plate at home, never. By the time I sat down the cold plate had already sucked most of the heat from the food on it. By the time I was halfway through, everything left was now cold too. Such a shame. Other than that I had a nice stay.
