The hotel is situated in an old building, but our room was clean and modern. It's at walking distance (15 min) to the old city center and just about next to Stary Browar. The parking area (paid; PLN 30 per day) is at the back of the hotel, a bit difficult to find (look at the hotel's website for the location). Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The breakfast area has a nice view over the city and a terrace.
About things we didnt enjoyed we can only point out 2 very small details: - Toilet flush sometimes get blocked so water flows down all the time and we had to push it once again to fix it and make it stop. - Stone on the bottom of the kettle We've enjoyed plenty of things like: - Trash with the ability to sort garbage - Information about possibility to drink tap water with required accessories - The best breakfast we've ever seen in up to 3 star hotels in Europe - Possibility to eat breakfast on the terrace - Perfect location right next to Stary Browar - Small fridge with drinks and their prices
I was in Traffic Hotel before a few times during business trips. I was very pleased mainly with the location of the hotel. Everywhere nearby - perfect location for me. Tram stop at your fingertips and you can easily get where you want. The train station is a tram stop away. Next to the hotel is Stary Browar, where you can go shopping. In the dining room in the Hotel is unlimited access to tea, coffee and a kettle, which is a plus. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. That's why I decided to stay here for a few days trip for two. The bedroom we stopped in had double bed that was so comfortable to rest after visiting the city. We bought breakfast, which is in the form of a Swedish buffet. There is a large selection of dishes, so you can eat something different every day and you can really eat your fill. If you need something you can go to the reception where friendly service will help you. I recommend Traffic Hotel for both short and long stays.…
This hotel was very cheap to book for the three nights we stopped working out at £56 per couple. And got to say it was a bargain and we will be coming again if we return to poznan. The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull and the hotel was spotless for a budget hotel. The bedroom we stopped in had tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer,tv,mini fridge with pop and water supplied in it if used paid for at reception. Big bathroom with Powerfull shower supplied with all toiletries shower gells soaps etc. 3 different sized towels very soft good quality, for each person And a massive double bed that was so comfortable best night sleep i have had when away on holiday. It has a safe in the wardrobe but didnt use it but aas free to use. Blackout curtains. Security was good also you had to have a code to get on to your Floor level and key entry for room. Lifts to all floors but used the stairs as we were on the first floor. Restraunt on the top floor but didnt use it but my son said it was very very clean up on that floor. Well worth a visit if your ever in poznan.…
Stayed here as two sets of couples in our 20s/30s. Got a taxi from the airport to the hotel for 50 zloty (on the way back it was only 28!). The hotel is clean although the corridors smell a bit sometimes - the room never did! The room was spacious and had lots of charging points. The bathroom was spotless. The location was perfect for us - right next to a huge shopping mall and about a 10/15 minute walk to the two main squares. We hired the lime scooters a few times and went to Malta lake to do ice skating - the scooters are so much fun and cheap! Breakfast was included in the price - it was your usual continental and plentiful. The breakfast room also had a fridge and micro wave/hobs for cooking - but we didn’t use this. Overall Poznan is a great place for a couple of nights and if you are looking for super cheap accommodation then is great! P.s. I never normally stay in anything under a 3 star but this hotel was great! …
Hereby my rating for the Traffic Hotel in Poznan. I stayed with my wife in June 2019. Location: 9/10 Room: 9/10 Hygiene: 9/10 Staff: 10/10 Breakfast: 8/10 Bed: 8/10 Price/Quality: 9/10 Do I recommend this hotel? Yes!
Stayed overnight on a trip to Poznan. The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes walk from the rail station and close to all city centre amenities etc. The hotel doesn’t pretend to be more than simple and it is just that. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. If we visit again we would use this hotel again. Luxury? No! Great value? Yes!!
The location of the hotel is what makes it stand out, its located just next to Stary Browar which makes it located in prime center. The City center and Old town is walking distance. The Hotel is ideal to travel with friends and family. Parking space is limited and charged and is at a tricky location which is easy to miss. This is the best Hotel if you are coming for a show at Music Theater.
Good location, very close to main railway station and walking distance to Old Town; big room, bigger than you could expect for 2* hotel, good coffee from machine available all day long, comfortable bed.
We were unimpressed by the hotel on arrival as it was a converted apartment/office block built in the 1950's. The building has been recently converted with modern bedrooms and toilets and a very good shower and toilet pod. The sound insulation between the rooms was not good as we could hear the neighbours talking and their TV. There is no Air Conditioning which could be a problem in summer, but was OK in September. Breakfast was good and located on the third floor and you could cook your own meals in the kitchen which some may like.
