I stayed here one night together with a group of volunteers to bring Ukrainian refugees to host families in The Netherlands. Modern hotel with good standard rooms, standard size bathroom, good breakfast and friendly staff.
We ordre for the first time from Hotel Moderno in Poznan under the corona via Delivery Week. We got carpaccio and risotto with seafood, but dishes was perfect and big and also not saved on the seafood Its the best meal we have got under delivery week, totally value for money
Something went wrong. Last weekend my husband and I spent at the Moderno hotel. We will arrive at the place just before 10pm, so after checking in we immediately went to the restaurant - the weekend offer included dinner. In the restaurant, apart from us, there was a grove of people. It turned out that the weekend offers have a very short menu, two of which were not available - the waitress said it was just an old menu that needed to be updated- ok, so why was it not updated then? We also had to order water separately (ok, we pay a lot of money for the package, we will pay extra for tap water, it's not a problem). Husband ordered a beer - the waitress impatiently noticed that it was his first and last because she was going to leave work at the usual time and it was already late. Only a few craft beers were kept in the fridge - who chooses a warm beer in summer ?! We waited 45 minutes (!!!!) for soups. The second course was brought by an embarrassed waitress saying that she apologies us in advance- the dishes were sloppy, not entirely consistent with the menu, small but in the end even tasty. We took the dessert into the room - intensive cleaning of the restaurant by the staff was a quite clear sign that they want to go home ... On the second day it occured that another tragedy in an empty restaurant awaited us. The young waitress realized that there was another menu for the weekend offers after collecting the order. Ok, how could she have known, right? If we did not know about the lack of availability of certain dishes from yesterday visit, she would have allowed us to order those unavailable. Soups came quickly, the waitress asked if we were satisfied and... left us staring at the empty plates - she cleaned them only when the second dish appeared (I admit I had some soup, maybe it was a punishment). The second course I choosed from the main complete menu - I have been to the hotel a dozen times a year and always take tenderloins. I know what the dish looks and tastes like - this time it was tragic, oil in every corner of the plate, amazing amount of fat. We ate maybe half portions when the waitress brought us ... dessert. She set the plates at the table and went away saying the cooks were a little bit too early... Honestly, I have never encountered such unprofessional service. Tragedy, drama, bottom service. Let me just also mention that at breakfast there is no advertised live cooking. Moreover an hour before the end of serving the breakfast during the weekend there are fies sitting on the cheese and ham slices, the bread is missing, the scrambled eggs were dried and the honeycomb empty. Voila, our appetite was so gone. To sum up: a disaster, quite expensive disaster.…

Superb room. I reserved room with bath spa and sauna in my room. Very big room , very clean. Very good food in hotel’s restaurant. Amazing breakfast. Taxi from hotel to city center cost me £1.50!!! Definitely I will come back.
Very nice, cozy hotel, comfortable and clean room. Easy parking. Superb restaurant with high quality food which is not always case in such hotels and in Poland.Great selection of wines and drinks. Staff quite young, sometimes missing experience, but truing their best and with positive attitude. Highly recommended.
Moderno was selected for me and whilst i would have enjoyed a hotel closer to the Poznan town centre, it would have presented more temptations for me! The hotel has a good bar, nice breakfast selection, friendly staff and is very clean. My room, 515, was near the lifts, but that did not present a noise distraction. Shower was good and amenities sufficient. No alcohol in mini bar in the room, but free soft drinks. A good option if business is your reason for visiting
Very normal and average hotel with cold face staff. Not so much helpfull, the towels were not changed during stayings, then I had to ask. But the breakfast is good. It is also quite far from most of places.
During our trip we spent here the night again. Coming back was determined by our previous experiences and we weren't disappointed either now. We enjoyed everything: polite, kind and helpful staff, everything was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was more than perfect for a calm rest. And kitchen! Mustn't miss to taste the wonderful meals of them made by fresh ingredients and imaginative combinations. And the wide choice of food of the breakfast is better than we would expect in a non-luxury hotel.
