Well located hostel with a neighboring Biedronka and Zabkas on every corner of the street. Takes a 15 minute walk to get to the train station but if you're really cold with no hot tea in your hands, you can easily manage to make it in 10. The room, as well as the private bathroom in it, were very neat. The bed was comfortable. Overall, great place to stay in for a night or two. 🌃
We have now stayed at Soda for our fourth time...it is perfect location...right in the middle of the hipster area of Poznań for restaurants, very convenient to public transport, if you are in Poznań for the exhibition centers and halls it is very close....it is quiet, easy access to old town and the Stary Rynek (Old Market), the apartments are nicely appointed and have everything you could need...refridg, microwave, plates, silverware, hot pot, etc. The staff are quite helpful and the breakfast is good. I highly recommend Soda Hostel!!
We stayed at Soda Hostel while touring through Poland. I have to say that everything was really great. The location, the room, the showers, the kitchen and the cozy terrace. Really recommend this one.
Very clean and accommodating. All staff speaks English and was extremely helpful. The rooms are private, designed with minamalist decor, and kept very clean. From the outside, the building does look a bit rough, but the inside has been totally renovated. There is a rooftop terrace that leads into the common kitchen area which is absolutely lovely. The area itself is quiet and safe, but additionally the hostel maintains up-to-date measures to ensure security of its guests. It’s also situated between two tram stops that provide quick access to any parts of town, including the Old Square Market area or Stary Rynek. Would highly recommend staying here.
I only spent one night here, in a small bathroom suite, after a long day of professional training. The shared kitchen was sunny, clean and natty, with "supplies" refilled before they even go (sausages, coffee, dish soap, napkins etc). My bed could have held 2-3 people and had a super comfy mattress, only sometimes got shaky from something heavy passing in the street (?). I also liked small details like a tall locker in addition to the night stand, or a fresh after-shower mat supplied. People may find no AC a disadvantage on hotter days (my room had an electric fan ready). The service is the kindest and helps you get around during your messy day ;) I recommend the place to those who like a homely feel to a hostel and neat modern design surpsising you in an old tenement house :)
