Horrible experience from start to finish. A hotel to avoid. There are far better options in Poznan. Check in staff passable, room OK, but serious lack of interest in guests and their needs. Like visiting a bad tempered aunt, who does not want you there.

One of the best Mercure hotels I have stayed at but they are inconsistent and vary widely from city to city. This building had a good location, good rooms, nice restaurant, nice staff, decent hotel gym. This room actually had a working AC with a low enough temperature to please a western traveller. This is the first time I have seen this in Europe ever. Here are the inconsistencies that prevented a 5 star rating: no iron in room, they won't bring you one either, no wash cloths in bathroom, no true bedspread on the bed, no safe in room, you can ask for a fan but you won't get one, drop ceiling in entry foyer (no hotel room should ever have a suspended drop ceiling) pics attached to review. Mercure needs to work on their consistency throughout their portfolio. You never.know what youre going to get with this company. Overall? This was a very nice property in Poznan. I would stay again.

the staff were really nice and the breakfast is pretty good but.. i was told i had to take a twin room and no doubles were available.. bit hard to believe as the place was obviously nowhere near full... the rooms are very old fashioned.. it looks like they've had a coat of paint but the furniture is 20 years old.. and pretty knocked about.. plus no sockets near the bed which is really annoying.. plus the 'air conditioning' felt more like an air circulation system and it didnt chill the room.. so a hot and uncomfortable night in a narrow bed

Stayed for 3 nights with my adult son in a Privilege room. Hotel is a 20 minute brisk walk into old town. Room spacious and comfortable. Hotel clean and well presented. Breakfasts good but not on same standard as Mercure Warsaw Centrum where I stayed previous week. Bar ok , staff ok but a bit official. Certain staff sporting blue and yellow ribbons in support of Ukraine. This I felt was inappropriate and making a political statement. Overall a very satisfactory stay and I would recommend for a visit to Poznan.

The receptionist took an active interest in making sure our baby had a good bed and phoned us to check everything was ok (which it was). I liked the option for flexible check-out time. The tea and coffee making facilities in the room were excellent. The main bed was very comfortable with quality linen. The room had good design, was warm, comfortable but also modern and fresh. The sauna area on floor A was clean, spacious, and made available to us. I would love to come back. All I can say is I hope they keep up the good work.

Very nice, modern, and newer hotel. Everything was clean, the staff was helpful, and breakfast was good (however, the scrambled eggs were too wet for my personal taste). They have four elevators; each is quite small, but perfect considering the current pandemic (we prefer NOT to share elevators with strangers, especially when they are unmasked!).

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Poznan. As Accor loyalty members, we appreciate the hotel's consistency with Accor standards, as well as exceeding them in certain areas. I have traveled extensively, and found that the Mercure Poznan has many aspects of a complete hotel experience. I enjoyed working out in a functioning fitness facility; the hotel restaurant actually was exceptional, with reasonably priced offerings; and the location was great (10 minute walk max to the train station). We appreciated the ability to reserve a late checkout time on the website, and the room itself was quite spacious. The breakfast experience was in the middle - perfect on day one, and less than on day two. The bed is quite comfortable, the shower warm with steady water pressure, and the room mini bar was a plus. The television provides a wide range of offerings, including English channels. Winestone provided a great dining experience both evenings. The staff service was EXCEPTIONAL, even when managing a large group at the same time. The quality of the food was great! We particularly had wonderful service from the woman with short brown hair in the evenings. The breakfast experience was perfect our first morning. We LOVED the variety of choices, and the waffles. Day two was the opposite - stressed out staff and abrupt communication. Mercure, please note that the waffles do NOT need to be cooked for three minutes - at three minutes, they are burnt! (we are from the US - it may be a voltage issue with the machine). Truly, those waffles cooked for three minutes are basically inedible! Finally, the first impression a guest gets about a property comes from the front desk staff. Well, our impression upon arrival was not a good one. Cold, abrupt, unsmiling (and yes, you can tell if someone is smiling beneath a mask!). Hotels are part of the hospitality industry - and the Mercure Poznan should keep this in mind when greeting guests. (as well as saying goodbye upon departure). It's these little things that leave an impression in the guests' minds. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice in Poznan - good location, food, facilities, and rooms.
