Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. At the arrival I was checked in by a receptionist that had problem speaking english and when I arrived at my room I found food left on the fridge and some trash in the trash can. Overall I can say that this was one of the worst Novotel I've been as the service was not the best, plus the hotel itself that looks pretty old.
Hotel was great, with all the facilities included. Working personel very kind and helpful. The only major minus is the payed Hotel parking. I consider this has to be a standard service and not a payed service or if its payed then should be a much lower price not 30PLN/day.
I’m currently staying at this hotel with my family because it’s it has an outdoor pool and is super close to Lake Malta and the Aquapark but it has loads of problems. First, parking is not free, it costs 40 Zlotys per day (not mentioned on Booking.com or the hotel website). Second, our hand shower hose broke off the first time we used it and there was no one in the hotel able to fix it; so we had to repack 4 suitcases and change rooms. Surprisingly to both ourselves and another couple the room we were relocated to was still occupied! After that mix-up was corrected and apology phone calls made by the reception staff we were moved to an unoccupied room only to discovered that due to some poor HVAC design the hotel restaurant background music somewhat loudly pipes through the air vents into our room (we were on the 3rd floor and the restaurant is on the ground floor). When I informed reception they said they are fully aware of this problem but can’t do anything about it. In fact the staff made no attempts to ease any of our discomforts; no meal/drink vouchers, no comp night, nothing; very poor customer service for a branded hotel like Novotel! On the plus side the hotel restaurant isn’t bad if not a bit expensive for this class of hotel. There’s an X-Box in the lobby for kids to play, the WiFi works well and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Verdict: I wouldn’t stay here again, opting instead for a short-term rental apartment in the city center that has free parking space included and walking distance to scores of restaurants and grocery stores. I’m fact I’ll be shortening my stay as soon as possible.…
For this price it is excellent hotel. Rooms are ok, breakfast are ok. One thing which is super is location - big park with place for kids, near Malta lake for those who like jogging, big swimming pool and gym nearby
Check-in went super smooth, very nice personal/service. The room was decent, nice beds fresh toilet. Unfortunately there was no AC, but there was a fan. You couldn't open the windows 100% on the first floor, so it got a bit warm. Breakfast was good! Pool/Outside area was amazing, nothing to complain about. What they need to upgrade: The hotel looks boring from outside, would need a facade renovation. AC need to be added to the rooms. The rooms was pretty boring, so more modern would be nice! Other than that, awesome hotel!
Location - quite far away from the centre but very close to Termy Maltanskie for example. Very nice facilities for children, a lot of green around the hotel. Car park - very big in front of the hotel. Breakfasts - standard Hotel is old Orbis. Although renewed I felt lack of air conditioning. Too expensive considering pros and cons
Looking for a hotel that is clean, quiet, and has all the basics...pool, restaurant, near location attractions? This is it. It's about a 30-minute walk to the old town section of Poznan however there is city tram stop in front of the hotel if you're not up for the exercise. There is also a running path and a local sports complex next door. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast each morning had several items to choose from so everyone should be happy.
Start from the beginning:checking in is always smooth and easy. Receptionists are very polite and professional. Always happy to help. Rooms always perfectly clean and smells lovely:) Service people are very kind and always smiling (especially Mrs Basia if I correctly remember the name) This is kind of place you want to stay and feel so welcome. Hotel is located next to the forest away from busy city - makes my stay very peaceful and relaxing. But also is very easy access to go to centre by trains. Breakfasts and dinners are like at my mama house:) just delicious- plenty of choice. Fully recommend!!
I liked my stay in the hotel but why do they use paper cups for tea/coffee. I think it would be better to have proper cups in the room. They forgotten to clean our room one day but when i went down to reception desk the guy there was very helpfull.
We spent our Easter break at the hotel. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Reception and cleaning staff were always very helpful and friendly. Varied selection of food for breakfast. In addition residents were able to obtain discount vouchers for use at the adjacent waterpark/pool-Termy Maltanskie. ZOO is 25 minutes walk away. Serviced by a variety of fast food delivery services.
