We've traveled around the world taking the best of each visited country. A unique place was created from those amazing experiences – Poco Loco Hostel. It's a hostel founded by travelers for those who travel or always have dreamed of traveling. The only place in Poznań, even in entire Poland, where the whole world fits under one roof. You will find Poco Loco Hostel in a historic apartment house in the center of Poznań's Old City at a cult street of Taczaka. Just around the corner you can discover Poznań's underground clubs and restaurants, and as well the Old Brewery – officially the best shopping mall in the world! Poco Loco Hostel situated within walking distance from the Old Market, the railway station, the bus station and the Poznań International Fair. On the courtyard of our apartment house you can park a car. Frankly speaking, the localization is perfect for all globe trotters!

Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for two nights, and absolutely fell in love with the vibe. It's very chill, and the staff were particularly friendly and accommodating to me. My flight leaving Poznan was extremely late in the day, and they let me hang around until the evening even after I was supposed to have checked out.

Only stayed here for 2 days but I loved the hostel. The staff are really wonderfully friendly, very nice and always smiling. Very close to the old market and most of everything. By far the best hostel I stayed in so far.

Great hostel which is well priced, cheap :)
Close to main square and main shopping areas.
Clean and uncluttered with a small balcony to have breakfast on.
Would recommend this for a short or slightly longer stay (we stayed 4 nights).
The cafe and restaurant in the same building at ground level were great!

Location: good. Easy walk both to old town and to transport links. Restaurants, shops and bars on the same street. 5/5
Staff: unfriendly without rudeness. Will answer questions but won't chat. Eg When I asked for restaurant recommendations, I was told there are some chinese restaurants and some italian restaurants on the street of the hostel - no tips for the town for tourists! Also they did kick all guests out of the lounge/kitchen at 7pm one evening so they could have a staff meeting - no advance notice and no indication of when guests would be allowed back (they were still there by 9pm). Fine for a hotel but not what you want in a hostel! This brings the rating overall down a lot as staff and common area are pretty crucial to hostels. 2/5
Kitchen: small but good and clean. Well equipped. 4/5
Breakfast: only cereal (cornflakes/coco pops) with milk. No fixed times - approx 7 until 10am. Free tea and coffee at all times. 3/5
Bathrooms: three bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet. Clean, good quality showers. Good bathrooms. Shared between approx 35 people. Long waits likely! The format means you have to wait for others to shower/brush teeth before you can pee - cubicles are better for hostels. Light switches on the outside so often someone will switch off the light while you are inside - very annoying! If anyone from the hostel reads this - please put signs on the lights to say what they are for, it may stop this happening! The format and limited number pushes the rating down to 2/5.
Security: good. Locks on outer door, room door, and lockers in room. Need own lock for lockers though. 4/5
Rooms: Comfortable bunk beds. Normal single size. Wooden bunks and not creaky. Best lockers in any hostel! The lockers are big drawers under the bed, massive spaces so very convenient and kept the floor clear of backpacks. Most beds also had fabric pockets on the wall to keep things in. Reading lamps by every bed are deceptive - many are not plugged in, with no socket close enough! Curtain on window was minimal - not wide enough and let a lot of light through - would be very annoying in summer. Also the heating can be changed in the room so you have to agree with your roommates! Overall a good dorm room though: 4/5

A hostel can have good points like location and character but if there is no heat in the winter… hmmm… bad news bears!
I asked the staff about the heat since It was at maximum level on the radiator but not working at all. "oh it take 30minutes to come on". A lie. There was no heat on the whole floor - all the radiators wore stone cold all night, and the next morning.
A known heating issue by staff but they still sold us the room….
We snuggled up in our winter coats to sleep, too exhaused to go anywhere else in the middle of the night.
"CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP" - the noise of the girl working there, with her high heel shoes walking up and down the hallway - for at least 45minutes (this is at 1am-ish) as she cleaned and prepared other rooms.
Dirty bathrooms with bits and pieces falling off.
Typical unsympathetic staff in the morning. I always wonder how a Hostel or hotel can take all your money and not provide what it advertised….
...What is even more shocking is that my girlfriend is several months pregnant. Who would give a pregnant woman an ice cold room to sleep (in an otherwise fairly empty hostel)?
I despise businesses that take advantage of vulnerable people. Hopefully this review can warn a few people away.

I HIGHLY recommend staying here! I was greeted by extremely friendly and English speaking staff and only continued to be impressed from there. I couldn't believe I paid just $12 for my stay which included breakfast. Very welcoming and homey atmosphere, I had a great time hanging out with the other visitors and the staff that night. The wifi was a bit slow and the signal was a bit weak in my room but that hardly bothered me! They also have parking for visitors that costs 10 zloty (about 3 bucks). I ended up parking on the street because i didn't want to try to fit my rental SUV through the narrow throughway. The car was fine and I maybe spent $6 on parking that day. I was also able to see my car from my room because my room was along the road.

Four of us stayed here for four nights during Euro 2012 and I have to say this is the nicest hostel in Poland. The rooms have been recently renovated and the whole place is very clean. I was very pleasantly surprised with the staff who were very professional and are all seasoned travelers. The location is very central with a walk to the old square taking approximately 5 minutes. Our experience here was far superior to any other hostel we stayed at in Poland during our trip. Keep up the good work.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Cannot say enough good things about this hostel. The staff were amazing and so helpful, the rooms were brand new, bathrooms spotless, excellent wifi, all the facilities you expect from a hostel and in brilliant condition. Its location is excellent only a few minutes to the central square. Cannot speak high enough about the staff, Tomasz and Ania are lovely and very helpful. Thanks again lads for putting up with two Irish drunks!! You helped make the trip to Poznan even better than it could have been. If you are going to Poznan and looking for a Hostel, please stay here!

This is a really good hostel and only a 5min walk to town square. The athmosphere here is very relaxed, the hostel is ran by people who have travelled a lot and are very intune with guests needs. Tomak was very helpful in picking us up at the airport, he even dropped us up to Gdansk for the Spain game for a few bob! the girls there are very helpful and very pretty! ha! ;-) Hope to return to Poland again and do backpacking adventure there and I certainly be staying in Poco Loco again! thanks for everything!

The location of this hostel is perfect. It's 5 minute on foot to main Poznan sights like Old Market, Old Brewery and town square. The hostel is located on the street where is lots of pubs.
Tasteful interior, everything is new!!! Each room is decorated with different themes, for example mountains, New York, thai beach, Africa, Australia and so on. Very good staff, helpful but not intruding. Kitchen, bathrooms and rooms are very clean. I will be back here!!!
