The bests things are the staff and the location which are superb . Beware that in July 2020 , there is no longer a restaurant or a bar, as stated still on some of the accommodation / hotel booking websites . Breakfast is ‘ basic’, but very fresh and good value for money . communal bathroom areas are a bit tatty , and ready for a refurb , but they are clean. If you want fresh fruit and more coffee , there is a JAbka across on Garbary st, together with cheap eateries . The old town square is around the corner. You will need to take a taxi or tram from the railway station or airport

Room Tip: In the summer try and get a room at the back , as street side is noisy with windows open

Despite having good experience of my stay and being a regular customer at this hostel through my company I faced a rather racial and prejudiced behavior from a hostel staff asking me to leave the lobby as soon as my stay was over. On asking his name and the hostel customer service form he asked me to leave the premises and threatened to call security. None of the explorer offcials has looked into the case yet.I will be glad to receive an action in my favor against the mormimg miscreant. Its a very sad sad experience.

Between my two visits to Poznan I probably spent a week there. Clean rooms, nice English speaking staff, and ok breakfast. Being wall to wall to a restaurant is good for quick meals, and it is located 6 minutes from the Old City square, which makes tourism very easy. Restroom was clean and water was hot; however, I must say that all the other reviews that mention the clogged drains are true.

Very centrally located, I had booked us a triple room, which cost £40 for the night. It had a large bathroom and hallway area and a reasonable sized room. It was perfectly cozy and comfortable. Would recommend.

The location of Explorer Hostel is perfect for tourists: 250 meters from the Old Town Square but on a very quiet street. The staff is great, really helpful and friendly. The room is simple but very clean. You get what you pay for. The shared batrooms were clean and comfortable, never any queues. You can purchase a rich breakfast for small money. I will definitely return here.
