My "suite" turned out to be close to the air conditioning unit buzzing around the clock. After 2h of reporting I was given a new room where the generator could still be heard and also a party with loud music that the hotel had organised but forgot to mention. The party was supposed to end at 2am - it did not end. This also resulted in the closure of the restaurant and poor service availability. If I had known all this I would not have chosen this hotel. All the other facilities like the large car park were ok, but so what if I couldn't sleep. I would recommend trying another hotel in Płock. I will never choose this hotel ever again.
A very good hotel for a long or short stay. Elegant, bright, clean and comfortable. Located near the city centre, it’s a great spot for active tourists, who can begin exploring the second they leave the premises. Cheap parking spaces are literally two metres away from the entrance. Płock is great, and knowing that after a long day of strenuous sightseeing you will go back to so lovely a place makes the trip fully satisfying.
Very nice and frendly hotel with great stuff. I recommend!!! It’s calm quite hotel in the center. Try to visit and find out yourself;) the rooms are clean, restaurant and meals are very tasty!!! Fish soup is excellent... you have to tru it:)
The kitchen is still brilliant. I actually came to town just because of Herman's kitchen. The previous visit has been for years, but the kitchen is still brilliant. And hotel is good whit privat parking 👍
A wonderful Hotel, great staff, beautiful garden, a lot of customer care, very nice team, excellent breakfast with handmade salads. What do you want more in the rural countryside? Next time again Hotel Herman, definitely the best one in Plock.
A nice and small hotel in the center of Plock. Nice, large and clean room and bathroom. Our room was on the third floor a d had a balcony.Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big parking place.
I have given rating 5 review due to the hotel staff. Everyone working in Hotel Herman is very friendly, professional and welcoming. The hotel itself needs refurbishing. For a 4* hotel we did not find it up to the standard. You do not even have tea/coffee facility in the room. The bathroom was in really bad/old shape and desperately in need of refurbishing. Same for the bedroom. Personally I did not like the look of the hotel, and would have given only 1-2 rating (if so) but the staff made it very welcoming for us as they are really going that extra mile to accommodate your needs in every way. For that and only that reason I am giving 5 rate.
My third stay at Hotel Herman and the service is as impeccable as ever. Besides being centrally located, it is a beautiful building with a delightful decor throughout; the friendly and helpful staff is determined to make your visit enjoyable. Hotel Herman’s restaurant is also worth visiting, not just for breakfast but also for lunch and dinner.
Despite arriving very late at night, the receptionist still opened the bar so five weary travellers could have a nightcap!! That gets top marks on it's own! Then asked for an extra duvet - there in a flash! Stayed for two nights, room was very spacious and the shower was fab. The breakfast was varied and went on as long as you wanted to stay. In fact, closing time for breakfast was supposed to be 10am however several guests wandered in far later. These guys are in no hurry to finish up which made it all the more relaxing. Upon checking out, another receptionist could not do enough. Personally looked after our luggage for a few hours and arranged our transport back to Warsaw. All in all, an excellent little gem of a hotel ... if I ever visit Plock again I will stay here :)…
We arrived to the hotel from Warsaw we took a shuttle bus that dropped us in a walking distance from the hotel. When we arrived the front desk lady told us that they upgraded our room, so basically we received an apartment instead of regular room. The only thing you need to take into consideration if you book an apartment is that there is no elevator going there (or at least in the one we got), so basically you have to climb a stairs but only one floor. The room it self is big and very nice and the beds were super comfortable (I was traveling with my mom and my sister). The hotel located a walking distance from the Old Town, a shopping center and Vistula. They have a nice variety of things you can choose from for our breakfast. With fresh orange juice and coffee of your choice. Very glad we stayed in this hotel and probably will book it again.…
