First time visiting Lodz and what an excellent place to stay! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and well-appointed with all the basics! I was on the 9th floor with a pretty decent view of the city. Very quiet. Though my HVAC was broken for my 4-night stay (in room temp hovered around 72-76 without the window open), I didn't want to move all my stuff to another room (that was offered multiple times due to how much stuff I'd have to completely repack and move -- the staff did everything they could to make me comfortable. The best breakfast buffet - even by American standards - was amazing. Everything from scrambled eggs and bacon to fresh fruits, yogurts, pastries, etc. Very impressive! The lounge/bar area was attractive and well-situated. The staff was attentive and friendly. The entire hotel was aesthetically pleasing. Modern. Comfortable. Safe. The only thing that this hotel could do to improve the comfort: replace the beds with newer bedding (the bed was the only thing that wasn't comfortable). I would definitely recommend and return! PS: Don't forget to bring a power converter/adapter combo!!…
A very comfortable hotel. Excellent value. Rooms appear to only have coffee makers on tenth floor. Irregular servicing of rooms ( sometimes a hand towel, some days a face cloth). No bars of soap …squeeze bottles not so good for shavers. Good desk space. Wifi worked. LargeTV. Iron and board in room. Breakfast 70 sty but very extensive. Quite near tram stop. Airport 65B bus stops nearby. Big park across the road for exercise. Not much nearby but Manufactura with its shops and restaurants is a short Uber away (16 sty) or walk and tram for under 5 sty. Not impressed by restaurant. Although food good, service was poor. After waiting 40 minutes for a beer, I got an apology and a free beer but would have preferred a beer with meal.
This hotel was the site of our veterinary conference. It is a beautiful hotel and the conference facilities were excellent. The rooms were comfortable and lovely. The staff were very helpful, especially to those of us who did not speak Polish. I highly recommend this hotel.
I very much enjoyed the food both at breakfast (buffet style), noticed that the offerings were better (more choices), when the occupancy rate went up, and lunch/dinner in the restaurant. When the hotel was nearly full, there was a crowd at almost all food stations and one had to wait a while.
My stay at the Double Tree Hilton in Lodz was excellent ! Kind and friendly staff. Room was well maintained and extremely clean. Dinner at the Bar was perfect. Had a mixed plate and was exactly that the waiter described. Can only speak high praise for the Hotel and recommend for all. I know I will return soon !
Can't find anything negative. Great staff. Service. Nice clean rooms.... Great adventure to follow our cinema stars and moments ("nie lubię poniedziałku").. Not mention "zakazane piosenki" elevation. Worth stay and back!
Good location ,close proximity to town centre .Very relaxing weekend stay , swimming pool gym helped to stay fit . Well equipped and furnished rooms . Probably the best hotel in Lodz with excellent views over town .
I am travelling 15 nights at 15 different Hilton properties in Poland in order to keep my Diamond status for 2022. During this trip I visiting every Doubletree in the country. This hotel has met my expectations and above. I was greeted correctly, upgraded to a one bedroom kind suite and they even offered free breakfast for my son despite that we were two adults and one child. The staff are very friendly, the room was spotless clean. The in-room menu and information were on disposable paper that will be changed between each guest. Even the remote control had been sanitized before our arrival. I had ordered a cake as my son had birthday and we were very satisfied with it. also we tried the restaurant as well as the room service and the food has very high quality and is affordable. We also tried the Spa and had a very professional therapist. also the pool area and the Jaccuzi were clean, quite and worth visiting. I would definitely return to this hotel again. (after checking out from this hotel we checked in at Doubletree in Warsaw and that is an entire different story which will get only two in rating in my separate review. The management should definitely visit DT in Lodz to learn how this should be done.)…
The room was spacious and comfortable, with two queen-size beds. The location is good, not too far from the city centre. The receptionists were kind and helpful, and the cleaning service efficient. On the 10th floor there's a swimming pool, fitness centre and sauna. Highly recommended!
Highly recommended for business and private trips. High quality. Even now during pandemic time they manage well all restrictions. Room service for restaurant is really well and managed all in less than 30 minutes Great please for evening walk and close to the park.
