Parking outside can be a problem as it is in a pedestrian type zone. But if you can find a place it us free. Hotel receptionist could speak English which was helpful. A gent operates the lift for you.

Hotel built in 1906 but despite some remodelling standards are not up those of modern hotels, e.g. lift to be used with a lift attendant! Has some nice, but dated artisitic features. Prime advantage is the location - adjacent to Lodz's main street Piotkowska.
