The room was really nice, clean and full of light. The the bed was comfortable, with a normal mattress. You can visit all the city main attractions on foot, the city centre is just a few hundred metres away from the hotel. There are plenty of good restarurants and bars by the Dobra river.

It was very good stay in Bydgoszcz. The hotel was really nice and pleasant. Room was very clean and nice decorated. Staff is helpful. Also location is in the point. Nice selection and delicious food for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful .

Very good business hotel - clean and easy rooms, good breakfast served early, About 5 mins walk to the old town. Check in easy, parking underneath hotel make it very convenient. A good four star experience with No complaints at all. ‘Mmmmmmm

I arrived on a Friday late for a weekend stay at this hotel. Before arrival I have seen already in the app, that I have been upgraded from a booked standard room to a premium room. Most probably because I hold Platinum with IHG. At check-in I was asked, as always, if I prefer welcome points or a drink voucher. Choose the drink voucher but later more. Breakfast was not included, would have cost 69PLN which I did not try. The room was a smaller room compared to the other ones on the floor map. Location was on the top floor, center of the floor facing the gas station. Prime view for Platinum (sarcasm). Seemed the room has been refurbished but I have no idea who came up with these "great" ideas. There was no seperate shower, only via bathtub. Once the showerhead was placed in position it did not kept the position it self. The waterpressure then did but flodding the bathroom. And the hose to the showerhead was that short, I am average height and the showerhead was the same height as my chest. Bending knees down to get the hair washed. The basin came with an open water tap. Once by mistake open it full, water spilled over the basin, floor flodded. Otherwise the room was equipped with minibar, ironing equipment, all you need. Room cleaning on request only but shower ammenities were already in the room to cover two nights. Free wifi. On my 2nd evening I returned at 11pm from the opera and wanted to use the drink voucher. I learned than that on Saturday evening 11pm, the bar was already closed. I went then to the reception to ask how I can redeem the voucher. I somehow expected that I could use the minibar for drink and snack but no, voucher was revoked and points credited to my account. Location was very good, in walking distance to the city center and access to public transport. Would I stay here again? Not sure as there is also a Mercure available in the center. IHG Platinum benefits given: Small room upgrade and either points or drink voucher.…

We have stayed here before & it was good but we always had a problem with the AC here. This time - we just can’t accept it any more, HI head office should do something about it. So, we arrived at 6pm & were welcomed by Patryk on reception- nice chap. We were given room 306, upon arriving room was very hot - 25C inside. We turned the AC on to find that it wasn’t working ( again!!! ) I complained to Patryk on reception desk - he was very helpful- but I was told that all the rooms are controlled on the floor level & are pre-set to 20C. Well our one was unbearable, hot, sticky & muggy. He gave me 2 vouchers for free drinks in the bar. Nice touch - but quite frankly I would prefer working AC. I was told that an engineer would look into it & get it fixed. 6 hours later, our room is 23C hot, not pleasant! When booking hotel - it is advertised- own climate control in the room. Well this isn’t true. It’s midnight here & we can’t sleep - it’s simply too hot!!! WiFi is another problem- you can’t stream anything - 4* hotel this shouldn’t be an issue. Room was booked for 2 person occupancy- only 1 towel provided?! Pillows could be of a better standard - again pillow menu advertised. TV - dated Samsung from 10 years ago, keeps cutting off whilst on. We will be moving in the morning, enough is enough! Won’t be returning.…

This must be one of the best, if not the best, hotel in Bydgoszcz. Very good location – just couple of minutes to the old center with bars and restaurants. It has convenient underground parking. Rooms are good. WiFi worked perfectly. Breakfast better than expected. I saw other hotels in Bydgoszcz and Holiday Inn would be may top choice in the city.

Very friendly and helpful staff, top rooms and an ironing board in every room. Like it a lot and can only recommend. Breakfast is superb as well. Coffee making facilities in the room is a major plus in the morning

The hotel is located 6 minutes walk from the beautiful Christmas marked - and by the river. There is a breakfast restaurant one level down from the reception. The second restaurant is on the ground floor which is open for lunch and dinner. I found it short of staff and slow, with expensive food, but the food was however very tasty! Try the beuf stroganoff soup! The wine glass measurements were as in many places in Bydgoszcz very very small, to the point I felt it was less than 150 ml. The room was great with a new looking, white bathroom. The staff were not smiling nor very friendly. Parking in the hotel basement was extremely expensive. There is road work all over the area and it takes time to get in and out of the area.

Was here for two weeks and had an excellent stay. The room was very clean and the bathroom was also very clean. Good bed and friendly staff behind the counter and behind the bar. Nice beers and especially the Russian Stout. When everything goes right I see you next year same time.
