My wife and I are currently staying at our apartment in Bydgoszcz. We normally eat out at Wernda, Meluzyna and Villa Calvados, but for Valantine's day I wanted to treat my wife to pampering. Hotel Sloneczyn Melyn came up on Google with spa treatment packages and my wife and I spent this morning in their spa followed by a meal in the restaurant. I have to say both the spa and dining experiences were absolutely fabulous. I cannot understand why this hotel is not listed with the other restaurants for fine dining. It is matches up in all respects withe the other three. We look forward to returning to both this spa and restaurant when we next return to our apartment in Bydgoszcz in the coming months, just as we look forward to eating in the other three restaurants. Bydgoszcz is very fortunate in having four such excellent fine dining restaurants.

We stayed in an apartment, a huge one but poorly furnished and decorated - needs more touch :) The car park isn't big but able to accept a good number of cars. Breakfast pretty tasty except for coffee that was terrible. Overall, ok but there are cosier hotels in the city

This renovated old mill has turned into a real gem of an hotel. Fat away from the usual corporate type hotel, this establishment offers a very comfortable family atmosphere with a welcome at reception that was extremely friendly and polite. The room was clean, comfortable and convenient, mine was on the first floor, with a view out onto the river.
The food was very surprising with a selection of dishes that would have been acceptable in any large modern city. The Chef was obviously very proud of his menu and took extreme care with the presentation of all the dishes. The service by the front of house staff was faultless, the bar staff were very efficient and the waiting staff had a deep understanding of , not only the dihes on the menu but the needs of the customer, often rare in some establishments these days.
The breakfast was an amazing array of Polish specialities and I could have stayed there and eaten all day ! ~All food was freshly prepared and presented.
Al areas of trhe hotel had a relaxing and comfortable feel and definitely somewhere I will return to.

I chose this hotel because it is a "Porsche charging destination" .... When I arrived, the 2 Porsche chargers were occupied by a Tesla and a Kia, obviously for the whole night. I had to go into town to recharge my Porsche. The room was small and outdated in style. The TV barely worked... all well below expectations.

stayed two nights on a city break, location is good for seeing the city. Overall this was a nice hotel, would stay here again. Restaurant was worth a visit.

The rooms are beautiful, cosy and comfortable. In general very clean, also the bathroom. I enjoyed a lot the breakfast: very rich and everything was delicious. Not too expensive at all, good proportion between price and quality.

Have stayed at the hotel twice now and each time the staff have been extremely helpful. We have been lucky to have a room on the river side both times. Each time we have stayed the room was very spacious. The breakfast is one of the best I have had when staying in Poland. You can also eat breakfast outside, weather permitting. There are also good meals to be had at the bar in the evenings. The hotel is not in the centre of town but is only a short taxi ride away or, if you are feeling energetic, a nice walk along the river. There is also a boat which runs from the hotel to the town centre. Check out their guest book!

Having stayed from the 1st to the 4th of August this hotel is up among the best hotels that I have stayed in. The setting of the hotel on the river is idyllic where a small ferry boat takes you in to town or you can walk along the river path which is about a 20 minute walk. Bydgoszcz and the old town of Torun are places to see this so far has not yet become a major tourist attraction but it will be as word gets out the same as happened to Prague.The price of food and drink is low £1.20 for a pint of beer taxi from airport to hotel£8 bus to Torun which takes one hour £2 and this is a must do visit. We will return to this hotel as it is a great place to explore from and it is a well earned 4 star hotel to all the staff we thank you for a great visit.

We were staying here as a big group so we were not able to select the hotel personally, however we were not disappointed! From check-in to check-out we thought the staff were amazing, food in the restaurant exceptional (breakfast choice was sooooo various!) bar area is very relaxing and the rooms were very comfortable. Although a chain, the hotel has a definite Polish charm about it so from couples to business travellers you will not be disappointed!

The hotel is very nice. Friendly service and comfortable beds. In each room, individual air conditioning. I had the opportunity just to try breakfast but it is much better than in Ra ... son. Room with slippers, shoe polish, thread and needle, and basic toiletries. Mini bar well equipped, the Polish and foreign channels.

Hi Danny,
Hope this isn't too late -- the beds were quite nice if I remember. We were only there one night but I remember thinking they were nice with good support. Not mega-firm but far from saggy. Hope that helps!
