Do not book this hotel if you may need any sort of flexibility or changes. There is ZERO cancellation policy! The manager is completely unwillingly to understand the reality of changing plans (especially when traveling alone with children). I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff, amazing massages and huge clean rooms. Only let down was the breakfast....not enough choice and not as varied as I prefer. We were the first people to breakfast in the morning and were informed 2 options on the menu were not available with no explanation as to why. We ate out for breakfast the next day which was unnecessary cost.

A friend and I went to Lublin last month to drop a load of donated medical supplies at HelpUkraine.Center (An amazing grassroots charitable organization! Please donate!). We spent the night at the Alter Hotel - and loved it! The hotel is very cute, very clean, and an incredible value. It is located in Lublin's Old Town, which is very charming. The staff, the rooms, and the restaurant at the Alter were all wonderful! My breakfast omelette was probably the best omelette I've ever had! (Most omelettes are pretty nondescript, but this one was great!) We didn't know anything about Lublin or the Alter Hotel - and were very pleasantly surprised by both! My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer in Lublin and at the Alter! I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel, stayed for two nights, great location in the old town, Staff very polite and professional, discovered the spa and pool which were amazing, room and hotel spotless and very well designed. we had some spa treatments which were also fantastic.

Not only is the city of Lublin the most underrated in Poland, but as it is absolutely stunning and beautiful, so is Hotel Alter. Knowing this hotel for three years now, I am always happy to return. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are huge and very stylish and the girls and young men working in the breakfast room are wonderful. The most stylish hotel in the hole of Poland, romantic and situated right in the center of that gorgeous old city.

Really surprised with this gem. Highly recommended for couple trips. High quality standard, huge room. Extremely cheap for the quality it has. Located in te city center, no cars allowed, it is very cozy and quiet. People are very friendly and give some good advice of the places to visit (U FOTOGRAFA was a really nice tip and is about 200 meters and you can drink several local different beers).

My stay was very brief but I was blown away by my very sexy room, I wish I could have stayed longer. The spa looked very nice but I had no time for that either. I had breakfast in the hotel which was very good. It was a little difficult to find and parking is at a minimum but they accommodated us. The location is great because its in the old town with its old world feel.

Super clean, super friendly, interesting and well appointed rooms. Our breakfast and dinner were superb! Must stay when in the area. We had the room directly straight back for them entrance and it was very large and comfortable. I wanted to stay a week!

The renovations of this old building are amazing. The room was a wonderful surprise, spacious, huge, glorious bathroom. My room had a vestibule. More room than I could imagine. Staff was always helpful. There is a crazy swimming pool in the basement with a lovely spa.
