I like it very much. It was simply great, big elegant clean rooms, clean, quiet, with big parking place, easy to reach. Breakfast was excellent a lot of choice. Very nice people. I will come again when I will travel to Lublin.
Hotel grounds were well-manicured. Hotel surroundings were tranquil and quiet. Hotel from was very spacious, with more than ample space to pack/unpack luggage. Air-conditioning was powerful. Shower enclosure was spacious, water flow generous. Plenty of space available to place toiletries. Overall, a very pleasant hotel stay.
The hotel has an interesting decor in the lobby and restaurant. Maybe not everybody's taste, but I liked it. The rooms are very nicely decorated. I was happy with the facilities which included free parking. Absolute value for money. Good breakfast
I must begin by saying for the price the value was outstanding at £40 a night but there were a few little things.... Mostly around the fact the hotel advertises itself as 4* which seems to be based more on the sister property it shares a location with. For example a 4* hotel in my experience of such doesn't have two twin mattresses pushed together posing as a Queen Bed, hot breakfast was merely scrambled eggs and three types of sausage - no oatmeal, no real fruit offering etc - and the gym is pretty much a joke for any hotel and with no pool it falls short of 4* expectations on facilities. Also the Wifi is bizarrely split in to 6 zones which means you have to constantly log back in if you move from room to reception or gym to restaurant etc. Irritating more than anything especially if you are on a call. That said, again value was excellent, the staff were absolutely faultless and there are nice areas in the grounds. As a hotel, the Hampton by Hilton in Lublin is a better hotel for the same price in terms of the breakfast offerings, the gym, the bed and the location but the overall experience at Luxor is superior thanks to the staff mostly. Trying to give an honest rather than fawning appraisal but at the end of the day I extended my stay FWIW…
It was welcoming, clean. It was up my dreams. The food very delicious and the staff really helpful. The room was big, with a really comfortable bed, Netflix in TV (kids were delighted) and beautiful bathroom.
The hotel may be nice place, but unfortunately we didn't have the chance of stay. We reserved 3 weeks in advance and JUST ONE DAY BEFORE of our check-in, received notification that the hotel is hosting a weeding, so hotel will be noisy, loud music and crowded. So let's say no the best place to rest anywhere in the hotel. A weeding is an event that are booked in advance over month-years, so the hotel should block reservations or let enough in advance the other clients about it. Needed to waste my time one more time to find last minute hotel, more expensive, not the location wanted and Luxor Hotel didn't support much trying to find a solution to it.
Loxur is a very nice and very pleasent hotel. The room was spacious enough the bad was good, the internet worked without hiccups. About 10 minutes drive fro the center (By cheap taxi) is really a little price in convenience compared with what we got. The buffet breakfast was rich and tasty. Certainly a hotel to visit again when in town.
My son and I travelled to Lublin in south-east Poland for my nephew's wedding to a Polish girl, though the couple live in Edinburgh. From arrival to check-out we had a great time, and largely because of the welcome we received. The staff were great, and managed to make themselves understood even when their English was not great (our Polish is non-existent). The food was amazing, and compared to the UK, cheap. The breakfast, included in the booking price, was a veritable cornucopia, with local treats as well as international cuisine. And the taxis are very inexpensive in comparison to the UK- a good thing, as the hotel is situated about 90 minutes walk from the town along a less than pleasant route for walking. All in all, a great stay in a lovely hotel.
We were with three families to celebrate anniversary my parents in law. We liked the hotel because it is not directly in city center and there are a lot of space for children to play (ride a bike, ride a scooter, play games). The staff was OK, the breakfast very delicious and various. In the meantime there were two wedding parties but it did not disturb us at all.
As it was my first trip to Lublin, didn't get an idea how to choose a hotel) Luxor appeared a perfect option, and I understood it in a few minutes after checking in. Spacious gorgeous rooms, nice service, very clean. And for sure the best thing were breakfasts - it made our days from the very morning. Will get back to Luxor next time in Lublin
