Dodatkowo najmłodsi mają możliwość spędzenia czasu w specjalnie przygotowanej sali zabaw z licznymi grami i zabawkami. Hotel Polonia was built in 1911 and operated then as "Vier Jahreszeiten". The value of the object is the historical aspect, visible in the maintained interior design of the rooms and public areas. The hotel boasts a great location in the heart of Wrocław, within walking distance of attractions such as the historic Ostrów Tumski and the impressive Wrocław Opera House. Across the street is the famous Capitol Theater, frequented by tourists and locals alike. The area is very well communicated, trams and buses depart every few minutes towards the center, which can also be reached on foot, which will not take more than 10 minutes. The tram stop is close to the hotel. There is also the Galicja Restaurant on the ground floor, serving Polish and international dishes. Hotel Polonia has 3- and 4-person spacious rooms at a very attractive price, making it perfect for families with children. In addition, the youngest have the opportunity to spend time in a specially prepared playroom with numerous games and toys.
Initially when we arrived the hotel did not know we had booked and said that they couldn't find the booking. To their credit seeing as they had rooms available they let us into a room, after a short wait, and sorted the problem out later. The hotel room was quite big, clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had a room at the front though and the trams were very loud and started early in the morning. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of options: tea & coffee machine, fresh juices, cereals, cheese, different hams, pancakes, boiled egg, scrambled egg and sausages. A good location that is only 15 minutes walk to the market square (Rynek), <5 mins walk to the train station and there is a tram stop immediately outside to get around the city. Cheap hotel and for the price you couldn't expect anymore.
Hotel Polonia offer great value for money if you are looking for a good location and baisc accomodation. The hotel is tired and could do with a makeover. Having said that the rooms were very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and the total price fro 2 for 3 nights was £89. That's exceptional value for money.
Unfortunately, this hotel is an example of how pictures can deceive. Everything looked fine but in reality is was a bit run down. Small room without aircon, very dark and spooky corridors and extremely loud street with tramway stop right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was okay and location on walking distance from everything worth seeing. Personally, I think that hotel rooms should no longer have any carpet on the floor but either wood, laminate or tiles.

We were given this hotel as part of a wowcher deal so weren’t expecting too much but even so - the hotel was still under our expectations. It’s old, tatty & unclean. Filthy corridors, pealing wallpapers and cockroaches in the rooms. The rooms are below basic and beds falling apart. Breakfast was terrible - we only actually managed one day out of the two. I really wouldn’t recommend this hotel….

Hotel is very basic but it is a 3 star and you get your moneys worth! It was a nice surprise to get a balcony view. Make sure you ask for extra pillows! Staff are friendly and greet you with a warm smile. If there is anything you need, just ask! Breakfast is continental. Could have done with a bit more variety. Like yogurts and fruit and a bit more hot food! Distance from main square is about a 15-20 min walk. Although lots of trams near by. Make sure you take ear plugs. Trams run outside from hotel up until about midnight and start again about 5am. We got use to the noise after the first night! Overall a bargain and nice first experience of Poland!

I spent only one night in Polonia hotel in Wroclaw 17- 18 December 2022 and was so happy I've only booked one night!!! For USD 73 in a presumably 3-star hotel I got an absolutely freezing room with no heating at all in the bathroom. The hotel is n the process of refurbishment so you can smell paint in the corridors. The areas where the work is going on are not properly separated so when you are waiting for the lift the builders are practically spraying you with paint. Lots of other unpleasant surprises, e.g. there are lamps near the beds but not a single socket - the only way is to use a 3- metre extension going through the room, TV was not working, the linen looked clean but the duvet was covered with hair - different colours and sizes, absolutely disgusting!!! The culmination of my stay was when at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning the builders upstairs started knocking, talking and laughing. I think it would be fair to the customers to close down if proper services cannot be provided. The city of Wroclaw is fantastic but my stay was completely spoilt by the choice of the hotel.…

This hotel is located 10 mins walk from the main train/coach station, and not far from the old town square and major tourist attractions. The two-room unit we have is very spacious, however, the furniture is just very minimum failing to make the unit very comfortable. And the bedding is aged and not too comfortable either. As the hotel is not air-conditioned, the windows need to be open and this also let in the street noise as Piłsudskiego is a busy thoroughfare. The included breakfast is quite adequate with reasonable varieties, however the dining room is a bit small for the crowd. The building is picturesque and quite historical; the lift / elevator itself is so "classic", something of quite an experience.

Having read previous reviews and browsed the photos we knew the hotel was somewhat dated in appearance, but this was not a problem. However, it is 5 minutes walk from the Old Town and on the main tram route. The downside is that the trams are extremely noisy, and if you have a room overlooking the road you will certainly hear them. Rooms are dated but clean and the buffet breakfast very good (coffee is excellent). Breakfast room is quite compact for a large hotel, so you have to pick your time. One issue we had was the lack of a bar for an evening drink. The bar only appeared to be open while the restaurant was serving in the evening. Good value for money and we would certainly return, but with courtyard facing rooms.

Reception staff were very kind, knowledgeable and eager to help. It was a pleasure to deal with them. The breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel seemed perfect for my needs. Very tasty breakfasts in a beautiful stylish restaurant, good coffee. The hotel is well located, close to the station and the city center, very good communication in every direction. After checking out, it is possible to leave your luggage in the hotel storage room.

What is wrong with people? This hotel worked out at just over £20 per person per night including a very extensive and plentiful breakfast ( my only niggle is that breakfast times should maybe be extended to 11am to accommodate travellers not wanting to be rushed and everyone turning up at the same time!). It was my 4th stay here and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Yes, restrictions were in place for cleaning etc due to Covid, but if you required anything you only had to ask, or the cleaning ladies who are still about cleaning vacated rooms are more than happy for you to take what you need from their carts...in our case fresh water (provided free in bottles), toilet roll and clean towels, other than that our room did not need cleaning daily so no problems. I requested room 454 having stayed in it before and wasn't disappointed, spacious and warm throughout with clean bedding and comfy mattresses and pillows. The main town square is 10 minutes walk away and yes, it's a main road at the front of the hotel, but an easy one to cross to the line of railway terrace bars and restaurants, and a wonderful indoor market 5 minutes away. If you don't like road noise, request a room over looking the courtyard or children's playground/school. It's a big hotel and will try to accommodate you. Spooky corridors? They are corridors in an old building, full of character if you ask me. The staff are all friendly and helpful and any negative review is just nonsense!! £20 a night?? If you want 4/5 star hotels pay for them! A budget 3 star hotel for the price of a hostel, and with 4 star service from the staff does not deserve to be given a bad review!…

The worst hotel I have ever stayed for £65/€76/353zl. It needs a major overhaul, decor from 80s bedding awful, quilt inside was 100% polyester pillow made of foam chunks, dark corridors, no blackout curtains, TV like a snow storm, remote did no work. Breakfast was ok though but not big enough so had to queue for 20mins. Please stay somewhere else, a hostel is better. I stayed in room 449.

Although it is an old hotel, the glamor and elegance that existed when it was built is still faint. Convenient location near the train station and the old town. Huge rooms with sofa and comfortable bathrooms The rich breakfast is served in an amazing room of another era. The girls in the restaurant are polite as opposed to the girls at the reception who were indifferent

Very bad service. They gave us one towel per person. The room was not clean. The reception told me that to clean the room you have to go and ask for it. The towels weren't even changed. The staff cheated on taxi prices. A price was communicated one and then the taxi took the much higher price.
