Detailed Reviews

Hotel converted from a building previously used as a convent. There are many crucifixes in the corridors. Close to the cathedral, about 20 minutes walk from the center and also close to tram stops that take you everywhere. Very basic and cheap. It has no elevator, high steps. Many rooms overlook the river. Very young, courteous and helpful staff. We don't speak Italian. They don't make up the rooms, nor do they change the towels unless you tell them via a sheet of paper that they deliver. Breakfast is also made to order, choosing on a note, between savory or sweet with the obligation to indicate the time. If you wake up early and want to go down for breakfast, it won't be ready! On the other hand, there is always a free bottle of water available in the room. There is no long mirror in the room, nor mosquito nets on the windows. (there are so many mosquitoes). Some beds still have springs in the mattress and therefore you can feel them all! But upon request, they change the mattresses or rooms.

The hotel / hostel is situated close to some of Wroclaw's main attractions in a quiet location right at one of the city's numerous riverbanks. It is a simple place but efficient, friendly and cheaper than the big hotels. The breakfast was fine, the rooms simple, but clean, the staff very helpful, speaking flawlessly English, and both the tram stop to go downtown as well as the little streets to get to the Cathedral and downtwon as well are nearby. Very recommended for people who prefer culture to luxury.

This is a converted convent, which now operates as a business centre. The rooms are quite basic but do offer all the requirements for a short break holiday - toiletries, towels, hairdryer, hanging space decent hot shower also 2 bottles of mineral water. That said, the breakfast which is included could compete with many higher priced establishments - continental with plenty of choice and fresh fruit and yogurt included. A range of teas, coffee, chocolate and juices. An additional extra bonus was being able to help yourself to drinks and biscuits if you returned during the day. They also provided a great breakfast in a bag when we left for an early flight. The only reason I knocked off a point is the fact that there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep for anyone with reduced mobility. The staff were great and helped with luggage. The reception staff also were patient and helpful with regard to questions about the local area. The location is great for exploring the local area both on foot or using the efficient transport system

Very cheap
Great location
Terrible breakfast
Cleaner didn't visit the room once in 3 days
Curtains are like tissue paper so woken up by the sun every morning at 6.00
Pointed it out to reception, I got the impression this had been highlighted before, they were not interested. I wouldn't go back and advise anyone else not to bother

Just returned from this lovely place today after a 4 night stay. The room is of a decent size and beds were comfy but extremely squeaky every time you moved around in the bed. It was also low down.
There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and outside the rooms on each hallway.
Rooms were not cleaned unless you requested which was no big deal to us, it.s good for the environment too.
Breakfast was typical basic European but there was choice of fruit/cereals and typical cold meat/ham. I.m vegetarian so loved to have tomato/green pepper and cucumber on my bread rolls. There was a good selection of teas/coffees in breakfast room too.
All the staff were friendly. I have no problems in climbing stairs but be warned, if you struggle to climb stairs as there is no lift.
I am an insomniac and even managed to get a few hours sleep as it was quite quiet.
One bad thing is that there are no black out curtains so the room was light at 4am.

Good location, large basic room with no air conditioning but not very hot because of the thick walls and high ceiling. No lift, large noisy corridors but we didn't mind as we like exercising and waking up early. Good breakfast and free water, coffees and teas all over the day from the machines on the hallway which was very helpful on summer days. Parking for extra 15 PLN a day. It definitely deserved the money.

Look, I've never reviewed a hotel before. I have to warn you though. Room was on second floor, there are no lifts, after a recent injury to my Achilles I had to struggle up and down the stairs several times each day...in pain not fun. There are no Lunch facilities. It is at least a 20 minute walk anywhere. No shops no restaurants close by. Soup kitchen everyday in the same building. Of course these people are down on there luck so to speak and need support, but none the less its not the brightest testament for a hotel.
Cold breakfast each morning not a chance of hot meal as there is no Chef or cook as such.
Very basic room with very tough uncomfortable mattress. Lots of people attending courses wandering about all day, fine but worth noting. No food in the evening at the Hotel. You have to go out. You could order a takeaway and eat from a tin foil container.
I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone at all.

We booked this hotel because of its location by the river and a short walk from town, and because it offered free breakfast. Even though we got to breakfast 45 minutes before the end, pretty much everything had ran out and they didn’t even acknowledge it or attempt to refill the options. This was disappointing.
Reception staff were lovely and Wifi was good but there was too much religious art about that felt very imposing.
