What na amazing find this one. An authentic rustic bar which ive wanted while in wroclaw. The bar is full of authentic snacks such as pretzels. All they serve are belgian beers to my knowledge. They have plenty of tables upstairs and down stairs with enough on street for warm weather. I am gutted i found this tonight with leaving tomorrow. A must for anyone that wants that rustic bar feel not bought by big corporations. Highly recommended!!!

We visited many times for beer, coffee, mulled wine etc. Very friendly staff and they have a good selection of beers and other drinks. There are also tables downstairs. It was busy at the weekend but reasonable during the week. Well worth a visit.

I spent 5 very comfortable nights at Academus which is situated 2 mins walk from the Old Town square and an easy walk to the main attractions including Cathedral Island. I found 2 popular Polish "bar mleczny" just 5 mins away ... cheap food, generous serves, very handy for breakfast before a busy day of sightseeing. My room was on the 4th floor overlooking a large courtyard and was quiet throughout my entire stay. Extra 'bonuses' included window box windows, plenty of power points, a radio(!) and a bathroom with a bath (as well as shower head), nice soap and shampoo. I was very happy with the wifi reception and the picture quality on my video calls was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, special 'shout-out' to Bart. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Wrocław. The room was on the third floor accessible via a small elevator from the bar or stairs. The room was small, basic and inexpensive. That was fine with us as we weren't spending a lot of time in the room. The only slight negative is that when the people staying in the other room on the floor came in, you could hear the hallway noise. Outside of that, no complaints. For the price, we felt we received a good value.

Stopped into this little bar as we thought it looked cool from the outside. Its like a little bar you would find in Belgium and has a good selection of beers (again with a Belgian vibe). There are no tables really big enough for a large group but its a good place for a quiet chat over a good beer.

This is a great little bar hidden just off the main square. Lovely beers and a real cosy and quiet atmosphere where you can easily have a conversation without having to shout over the noise of a busy bar - visit here every time I am in Wrocław

We passed this several times and decided to give it a try, Small bar with very good choice of beers and the one we tried was excellent, certainly more atmosphere than our hotel bar. There is room in the window for 4 people to sit and people watch or several tables on a lower section.

We came here in the summer and really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of this bar located just off the main square. But this time round not so good. The bar was more or less empty when we called in on a cold afternoon. It does have a brilliant selection of 8 or so draft beers, traditional, white and a nice cherry beer. It’s not the cheapest by far but well worth a visit. The young woman working behind the bar really needs to cheer up though and be a bit more friendly. She was very grumpy and it kind of spoilt the visit. If you don’t like your job, get another. Pay it a visit if in Wroclaw, she might not be working!
