We really enjoyed our stay in September 2022. The room was one of the four brick, subterranean granary vaults. The domed ceilings and ambiance provided an exceptional sanctuary for two nights. The breakfast bar and dinner menu provided succulent examples of fine Polish cuisine. The room opens to a quiet courtyard with chairs and a peaceful setting. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the market square where the city comes to life. There are numerous restaurants and entertainment venues that make the stay well worth this special location. The hotel staff were excellent and helpful in every aspect. Well worth staying here again and again.
The hotel left me with pleasant memories: a perfect location, friendly staff, comfortable room, and on-site parking. The ground floor room had private garden seating. The restaurant table and chairs are large for the small surface area, making it look crowded.
Our room was located on the ground floor which we had to access by walking through the dining area into a hallway. The room architecture was very cool. The hotel was near Market Square and easily accessible to other parts of the city. Daily, we ate breakfast at the hotel.
Very nice hotel in the heart of the city. The staff is extremely friendly. Excellent room service. The only small remark is the heating that for such large rooms and with such large windows is too limited for the cold Polish climate. Very convenient parking
Wonderful hotel. 5* without the pretentiousness. Really very up beat and excellent facilities. Our suite was breathtaking. I highly recommend the 7 course tasting menu provided by the hotels restaurant.
I booked the Granary for it’s location away from the tourist centre, walking distance from the railway station, and because of the older character of the hotel that came with the bonus of air conditioning. I booked a garden room in the older part, for access to the outdoors so I could work/eat there, and for the character. But the hotel put me in a room that was completely void of character in the ‚attic’ part of the hotel, that I had specifically avoided booking because these glassed rooms with sloped ceilings are often hot in August. It’s my fault that I didn’t complain when I arrived in the room. I was too focused on fixing the safe that wasn’t working. When I pointed it out to reception the next day, they did not offer to move me, but told me it was an upgrade. So, I paid a lot of money for a room that I did not like and certainly did not feel like a 5 star hotel. The cons: -Safe wasn’t checked by the staff and batteries were dead. -No pen or notepaper in the room -No robes as advertised (on booking.com) -Dated decor -Hair dryers switched off for COVID supposedly. There was a 2 page COVID policy document in the room, yet cleaning staff and the majority of staff were not masked. Those that were, wore masks under their noses. Pros -quiet location, close to the train station.…
Great place to stay when you visit Wroclaw. Great rooms, ac works perectly. Silent and just a short walk away from city center and city mall. They offer parking for a fee. Staff is very serviceminded and English works well. Breakfast deserves 5-star on its own. Very good!!!
Excellent location close to old town. Nice and cosy rooms and really customer oriented staff. Rooms are clean and big enough. I enjoyed pretty big bathroom with bath tub to relax in afer long day visiting Wrocław.
Spent three nights here on a recent business trip to Poland. The hotel is really well situated for a short walk into the city centre yet just far enough out for it not to be noisy at night. The breakfast does not have a huge choice on the buffet but you can order extras from the menu. Rooms are incredibly spacious and the bathroom is clean and modern. I had a corner bath, not sure if all rooms are the same. Decent value for money and the staff speak good English (better than my limited Polish) Would definitely recommend
I can't find the reason why this place is rated as a 5-stars hotel. This is rather 3-stars place. It's dark, chaotic and rather noisy. Air conditioning wasn't working correctly in my room. If you will not pay extra 80pln, you will get very basic breakfast. Service is not helpful. Not worth the money - choose another place in Wroclaw - there is plenty of them in similar prices, quiet, comfortable and with full breakfast included!
