Perfect location for a visit to the city. Clean, comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. They gave us ideas of where to visit, answered all our questions and all spoke excellent English which was really helpful. We didn’t visit the bar though - didn’t find it very welcoming. However it is very close to the restaurants and bars of the city.

It's selling point is that it's a decent hotel in the old town and close to everything, especially the Christmas market. The room itself was quite adequate but could have been anywhere in the world, with nothing to distinguish it from thousands of others. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable, though an extra pillow in the room would have been nice. I wouldn't stay here again for two reasons: There are two bars opposite and they are open until the early hours. There is constant shouting and music from them that meant I got little sleep on either night we were there. It finally got quiet at around 5.30 on Sunday morning. Transfers to and from the airport were pre-arranged with the hotel but simply didn't happen and the staff didn't give a damn, just a shrug of the shoulders. We had to stand for 30 minutes at the airport on arrival before taking a taxi from the rank and paying 50% more than agreed with the hotel. For the return we sat in the hotel reception waiting for our transfer to the airport and nothing happened and when I asked at reception the woman claimed to know nothing about it, despite it being her I'd discussed it with two days before. They just don't care. To cap it, the taxi driver that eventually arrived ripped us off by changing the meter from z57 to z80 and refused to let us have our bags until we paid!

Really nice rooms and bathrooms - but awful pillows, single duvets on double beds (which, in fairness, seems to be everywhere in Poland - but still really annoying for a tall couple) but the real let down was the noise. It’s well placed in the city but right opposite bars that stay open until 4 & 5am. And then sees people screaming and shouting in the street outside the window all night. That tied with the bad pillows, tiny duvets and rock hard mattress makes getting any rest nearly impossible.

The hotel is nice, but service is horrible. We were overcharged 800 PLN by the hotel, but they refused to pay the difference back. Towels, toilet paper and general friendlyness was also missing. I would not recommend this hotel. Management has not understood the value of customer service.

We stayed here for a long weekend friends. The rooms are large and very clean. The bed is large very comfortable. The shower is great. There are tea/coffee making facilities etc, everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The hotel, bar is very responsibly priced. It is a short walk to the market square. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the noise at the weekend from the bar across the road, but I guess you are going to get that in a hotel situated so close to the main square
