I had read on the historical significance of the hotel, the fact that it had been updated with modern amenities yet still retained the unmistakable feel of another time. That said, this property was a nice surprise. From the marble floors and pillars to the ornate wood doors and the large room with ultra modern amenities. The location is a...

This is a trendy/quirky hotel well located close to Old Town, shops, train station & bus to airport. We had a very pleasant 4night stay in a very comfortable room with fab bathroom heated floors, power shower & jacuzzi bath. The spa/pool and sauna facilities are great. I would recommend if you like your comforts and have time to enjoy....

My second stay at the Monopol. Perfectly located close to the old town and quirky with an ornate exterior and modern interior, I really enjoy this hotel. Heated bathroom floors are great, though I couldn't get all if the bathroom lights to turn on. Bed is firm but comfortable. TV had an easy to use, modern interface. Breakfast buffet is...

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly, rooms top quality. Great location for the rest of the town, only 5 minutes walk to the square, and next to the Opera house. Would defiantly stay again and would highly recommend.

Stunning hotel, fantastic location but smoking in bar killed it for me so never even got to have a drink there. This hotel is like something from a movie and a certain Fuhrer once stayed here and there was even a special balcony built fir his stay, although they don't advertise this in the hotel, understandably huge rooms with ultra...

The location of Monopol Hotels is great, right in the center of town. If you like very dark, modern place , this hotel is for you. Very clean and spacious room and bathroom, great service, just the decor was not my type.

An historical building with some unpleasant memories, Monopol has been restored in an unique style using metals and old wood. The size of the rooms is huge, maybe 6 metres high, with corresponding full windows and great lights. Extremely comfortable, quick and gentle personnel, gorgeous view from the top floor bar and great choice for breakfast. It is so comfortable...

The room had high ceilings, very modern inside. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. The room was air conditioned. (99*F outside)The room was very clean and comfortable to sleep in. Drapes covered the whole window and no light got in. A nice walk to the Rynek. Breakfast was buffet style, also there was a menu if you wanted...

This hotel combines historical beauty with a modern interior. My room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a surprising industrial design with concrete and steel. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a jacuzzi all in marble! I appreciated the shampoos of L'Occitane- a great French quality brand. Unfortunately - as in many hotels - the room was...

Very nice old building fully renovated in the Art Modern style. Huge suites with all possible amenities. Reasonable rates. Two restaurants and very efficient and dedicated team. Lovely penthouse terrace- bar with georgeous panorama of the city. Two minutes walk to historical city center. The best adress in town.
