If not the nice and hardworking personnel it could be worse. We haven't had worse experience since years. I wish the owners of this hotel stayed for a week in the same conditions instead of us. When booking a number in this hotel I specifically asked to give us quiet and non-smoking room. We stayed for a week there and 2 nights in a row we couldn't sleep because of the neighbors who had disco and played electric guitar until 3.30 in the morning. First night the personnel were not able to stop the noise. The second night they tried but because the neighbors were angry at us and the numbers were absolutely sound transparent they did everything to keep us awake. The neighbors also smoked on the balcony frequently. The hotel windows have membranes to let fresh air in, which is good, but in our case, it was cigarette smoke instead of the fresh air. Asking neighbors to stop smoking politely did not work. The internet access in the room was almost always inaccessible. The biggest problem was the parking. It was snowing two nights in a row. The drive to the hotel wasn't cleaned properly and the cars rolled an icy crust on the road. After snow has fallen only 4x4 could drive out. We cleaned the snow ourselves our kids helped us to push the cars. The hotel's personnel only scattered sand and salt on the ice. Some sand grains got on my windshield and the wipers scratched the surface of the glass. The roof of the hotel wasn't cleaned either. Thick layers of ice covered the roof slid down from it and crashed with loud thumps every day, which was potentially very dangerous for every guest who walked near the hotel. There is large conference room in the hotel where you can seat and relax every evening without disturbing other guests. Alas some of the chairs in the room were broken and then hastily repaired. I fell down from one of it backwards and had to dive roll as the chair broke under my weight (I am not overweight at all). The first meal in the hotel's restaurant caused diarrhea. I can continue and go on. I do not understand how this could cost more than 1,000 EUR a week with such quality of rooms and service? What is the point of laying beautiful tiles in the bathroom if the sound isolation so poor that I can hear neighbors snoring in the night? How one can stay in a hotel that is driving distance from local attractions but you cannot drive a car since the hotel's road is covered with thick ice?

I have been guest for one night in this hotel during a company meeting. The room is ok, fairly appointed, and there is a garden and a closed gazebo per the bbq, where you can eat with the company of friends and fireplace. The breakfast for us was quite ok, both in terms of variety and quality of food. So I would say a quite average 3* superior hotel, which has nothing to complain, but even nothing which impressed me particularly. Staff and cleanliness, very good both. We missed the entrance to the hotel from the main road, maybe a signal might help the drivers. However I might get back there one day.

Stayed here for just under a week. Whole hotel was very clean, staff were excellent and very friendly - perhaps a touch overworked? Everything was quite modern, bar area and outside were lovely. Pool was also great. I've seen the hotel claims to have a fitness studio but it's no more than a room with two sets of 1kg weights so coukd hardly be described as a fitness studio. There's also windows on both sides into the pool and the hallway so not ideal. Had a massage which was quite good. Had dinner here twice; both of which were good. There wasn't much dessert choice though. The location of the hotel is a fair little walk from the town but it's a nice quiet area. I would recommend this hotel to families and couples alike.

We stayed here as a family in an Xmas arrangement. Hotel is easily accessible by car, though address by GPS sends you on the main road and the hotel is located on a sideroad. Great facilities: breakfast, spa, swimmingpool, parking. Dinners on averagr could be warmer but was tasty. There was a campfire one evening and entertainment for kids. Staff mostly very friendly and helpful. We got a watercooker and babybed extra by request in our room. No iron in the room. Hairdryer in cupboard in bathroom. No dressinggowns in the room but we again got them free on request. Possibility of free organized minivan for trips to nearby sights such as the waterfall (though in Dec there was no snow for us). Daily serviced rooms with towels changed as indicated by guest. Would definitely consider coming back, perhaps next time in summer. Toy corner for kids on second floor. Free wifi, though spotty due to nature of the building.

Beautifully refurbished and nicely landscaped clean hotel - very hospitable and friendly staff - spa and breakfast was perfect. This is a tucked away from the crowds hotel which we would easily give an extra star if it had coffee and tea making facilities and hairdryers in the beautifully interiored rooms. Great place for a romantic getaway for a long weekend. Definitely a good price deal.
