I came to ORLA SKALA with three children(7,10 and 13 years old) and the location is perfect if you like to have the long walks. There's a lot of beautiful places to visit nearby(Szklarska Poreba center is one hour away by foot), and you can go to CHYBOTEK(10 minutes walking), ZŁOTY WIDOK(15 minutes walking), SZKLARKA waterfall(25 minutes walking). Orla Skala team is very nice and patient! The rooms are a little bit humid, fortunately we had only sunny days so it wasn't a big problem. Our room(Family room for 5 people) had enough space(2 bedrooms) but we didn't spend a lot of time in it. Plenty things to do and to see. The food was good! We always had a huge breakfast('til 10am)- not as big choice as for dinner but far enough(pancakes, eggs, sausages) then the whole day walking around and then we were coming back for dinner (from 5pm)- soups, salads, meat and potatoes... Really good time and worth every penny...

Orla Skala is located at very beautiful place, you will get amazing views from surrounding grounds. Unfortunately standard rooms are very, very poor quality and much too expensive for what you are getting there. People working at the hotel were very nice and helpful, except the owner - not helpful and not friendly at all - very disappointing. We have been in many places, various standards and prices, but we were shocked with what we get for not the cheapest place.

The hotel is quite large but at the time of our visit wasn't really busy. We enjoyed tasty dinner in a very nice dining room and a tea on the hotel's terrace. It was too cold to eat dinner outside but on a summer warm evening it must be delightful to eat there. Everything was clean and newly decorated(looks like a perfect place for weddings etc). We had a late night treat at the hotel's bar(hot chocolate prepared by the owner and his young daughter). The only issue for me was the location. It's a bit far to walk to Szklarska Poręba's centre and main attractions so would probably suit more guests with a car. Looks like a good place for families with children as well.
