After more than 13 years of absence I've visited my Country this last May and June.It was an incredible experience being back home and visiting places that I cherish so much.Although Poland is beautiful in general and I had the privilege and pleasure of being in Warsaw,Lodz and Wroclaw,the biggest impact was to go back to my roots where I was born and grew up in Lower Silesia.Seeing my friends and places that I have known for quarter of a Century was incredible.One of those places that I love is Polanica Zdroj,small and peaceful spa town tugged in the Sudetian Mountains,where is located one of the most beautiful hotels and Kurhauses I've seen called Wielka Pieniawa.It is a complex and sophisticated place to go relax and take all the worries of everyday life away.With its beautiful fountains,walkways under greenest trees and peaceful surroundings it is the best place to stay in Polanica Zdroj.Renovated to its past glory Wielka Pieniawa offers all the great amenities of a first class spa,I higly recommend Wielka Pieniawa to all who will be lucky enough to visit this beautiful place and also its beautiful surroundings.Thera are many places in Lower Silesia to visit and sites to see,amongst many others great hikings in the nearby mountains,small colorful towns Like Duszniki and Kudowa Zdroj and the best thing perhaps coming from busy and crazy life in Los Angeles the freshest most intoxicating and healing mountain air!…
