A very pretty palace, 2 buildings with great garden and an amazing swimming pool. Very good breakfast with amazing choice of dishes, very good restaurant, very nice restaurant service. There are massages but it is not the strength of the place. There is nothing attractive for children, also steps, levels. There is a lot to do in Jelenia Góra area, but a car is a must. The minus is for lack of air conditioning in the pool house and strong heat from the pool in the pool house. The pool is one of the most beautiful I have seen.

Charming place for romantic stay. Apartments, restaurants’ rooms and their equipment are taking you to XVIII century. Good to be here; looking forward to visit again. The restaurant is top in the class. Excellent quality, fresh and tasty. The service is so nice. Feel comfortable.

Restaurant review : poor quality of the food, therefor the place is overpriced. If you want to have a decent meal try somewhere else. Food without flavour, not cooked enough, home made lemonade made with artificial ingridients. I can’t realy recommend this place and it is a pitty because the atmosphere in the garden is amazing.

Beautifully located and full of character. If you like to get spooked it's a place for you. There are ghosts! But also great locally made syrup and good breakfasts. Lovely staff. Very clean and surrounded with peaceful forest.

The Palace Staniszow should/could have a 5 star rating as it has everything for a wonderful romantic hideaway and travel back into time: - The old palace has been nicely renovated and refurbished keeping the charme of the old times. - The hotel facilities are great: A wonderful 20m heated indoor pool, a nice spa, a beautiful restaurant with a great garden terrace and a wonderful and huge park - The restaurant cuisine is simply excellent. All our dishes throughout 2 days were absolutely excellent and nicely presented! So why do we rate it only with 3 stars: 1. Room - We had a two level suite in the Spa part. Furniture is rather flee market than castle style. the living area upstairs without anything (e.g. TV) makes it rather useless, the pillows were very soft and of very low quality 2. Service personnel The personnel throughout the entire hotel needs urgently some real professional training: - At the check in no help with the luggage whatsoever was offered. It is considered to be normal that guests carry their heavy suitcases upstairs themselves - In the restaurant with one noteable exception (Ms. Anna) no one speaks English (some German, though) or has the basic knowledge/training for the job. Apart from most of the waitresses making the impression that working there is a big torture for then, some basic service knowledge and attitude is missing. This is most noteable at breakfast when tables are not cleaned up and prepared rapidly, coffee serving takes ages and friendliness towards guests seems to be an unknown concept. How a good and friendly professional service by a very young team works properly can be studied at nearby Palace hotel Karpniki...
