My stay at this hotel was arranged by KCM clinic nearby, 3 nights pre-surgery and 6 nights post-surgery, on a B&B basis. The hotel is a larger building set in good grounds. The rooms are comfortable, airy, with single or queen/twin beds, with usual ‘extras’ such as TV, coffee making facilities, hair drier, and so on. The wheelchair-accessible room has an en-suite wet-room, but sadly no drawers/shelves to put clothes in, nor a comfortable arm chair to sit in. It is part of the Accor group (which includes Ibis in UK and is of an equivalent standard), and B&B prices are very reasonable. Large, open reception, bar and restaurant, Leisure area on the floor below, lifts to all rooms. Most ‘front’ and restaurant staff spoke some English or German. Two things stood out significantly: Quality of food in the restaurant, and the Staff. Restaurant meals were absolutely delicious. The menu is a little limited but it ensured that food was freshly cooked, served and tasted delightful, without exception. Portions were large, and the cost of courses was most reasonable, excellent value for money. No point in going elsewhere! It has been a long time since I have had such excellent service from hotel Staff. Without exception, they were professional, caring and accommodating, and made me feel welcome and ‘at home’. I had a couple of problems with ‘technology’, but the Staff in reception and restaurant couldn’t do more to help. At buffet breakfast I was immediately waited on without a second thought (post surgery disability and on crutches). They truly are a wonderful team, and a superb credit to the hotel and everyone. I can’t thank them enough. This hotel will be my first port of call when I return next year. They are a very hard act to beat on the value-for-money stakes, so why shop around!

I wasn’t expecting much in a chain hotel in a small Polish town but it was clean, quiet & close to town. I found the restaurant & housekeeping staff friendlier than reception. Plenty of parking outside.

Positive: plenty of room for parking; nice lounge; recreational area with swimming pool and two saunas; quiet bedroom with blackout curtains Negative: expensive breakfast; one sauna was out of order and the other one was cold; the bedroom didn't have an air conditioner and a ventilation

I stayed in Mercure Hotel for 4 days. I loved the room, the interior was very fresh and contemporary. Room was quiet, with the view on to the allotments. Lots of space, free safe, kettle, mugs, coffee & tea bags. Didn’t use restaurant much, but ordered pumpkin soup once and it was lovely. Very clean place. Recommend.

Loud elevator, 3 nights without sleep. No possibility to change the room. Old furniture in apartment. No cleaning service. No understanding for our situation. Compensation was 1 dinner with tourist group and loyality points enough for less that half night.

I am so glad I came to this hotel the 3-star and priced accordingly. But I felt it was a 5-star service the staff here we're incredible very helpful very friendly I'm very understanding to my situation. The rooms are spotless and big the food was totally adequate. It was not any one person here who made the trip for me it was a combined effort I will be back soon to get my second hip replaced and I will look forward to staying here I kind of think you enough. We were really impressed with the staff here. They are very accommodating and even let us have a late check out on our room. We had a superior room which was very nice and modern with comfy bed. Wifi was very good and we was able to stream UK tv and movies well on our iPhones. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, really lovely food and fantastic selection. The staff spoke quite good English so were able to answer any queries we had and were really nice towards us. The pool and sauna is also good to relax. And the location is good, a ten minute walk into the town of jelenia gora and a supermarket a five min walk down the road.
