The location is great. Parking is great. Room was very large. Water pressure was great. Negatives are no air conditioning. Noisy at night especially since windows need to be opened to cool it off. Food at breakfast wasn’t fresh although a big variety but not appetizing. But still location, location, location.

Nice decor with local charm and great staff. Rooms and bathroom are a good size, clean and well appointed. 2 mins walk to the central square, 10 mins from the railway station or 30 seconds to the (secure) car parks. Good choice of local food at breakfast and for dinner. Excellent value for money.

Walls too thin, and staff too loud. Silly hotel/maze-like stair design makes the corridors like an echo chamber. I like to sleep-in in the mornings (I often work very late) but Baron can not offer this. Staff should know better, but I doubt they've ever stayed in the rooms. Breakfast was disappointing, lots of choice but everything looked tired and the obvious/easy "eggs, bacon etc" were not good. Classic case of quantity over quality. 4/10. Check in was fast, rooms are ok (old, but clean and comfortable) but the noise / thin doors are a joke. Needs modernising. I didn't buy the room (it was bought for me) so can't comment on value, however I would imagine this is 'ok' for travellers on a budget.

This hotel is bang in the centre of town, a few feet from the main square. It has a secure carpark to front and back. Young, efficient and intelligent staff. It provides an impressive breakfast in relaxed salon. Good mattresses, quiet rooms and adequate bathrooms. This is a lovely hotel, offering a really quality service at incredibly cheap price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel has old world charm. Rooms are not over the top luxurious but they are extremely comfortable with a nice modern bathroom. Beds are comfy with warm duvets for those chilly nights. We had the breakfast included (highly recommend) it was a very nice assortment of fresh breads salads, meats, cheeses with hot food including bacon, eggs & pancakes-plentiful and a nice dining area looking out onto the street to start the day. There is a nice front patio area to sit and enjoy the sunshine and have a beverage. There is parking available for a reasonable price in a lot directly across from the hotel. The central square is right up the street with shopping, dining & historic sites. I would absolutely stay here again- the front desk staff was friendly & helpful as well.
