Good value hotel – priced below similar hotels in Poland. Great location in old large villa right next to the park and walking areas in Cieplice. When we were there, there was noisy renovation of street behind the hotel, but other than that the area is pleasant and quiet. Breakfast no frills but tasty. We also had half board dinners which were minimalistic but tasty too. Rooms comfortable, bit small bathrooms but not big issue. Wifi worked very well. Overall its very popular hotel for both short term visitors and longer term vacationing families. No surprise its popular – we had very relaxing 10-day stay there.
Vey cheap hotel, but at same time at level of higher "branded" hotels. Wi-fi is very good, rooms are clean and quiet, restaurant serve good polish food. One remark: most of people don't speak english, only polish or german.
The hotel is situated in Cieplice, a suburban area of Jelenia Gora. The hotel itself is nice and clean, the staff doesn't speak english (only german and polish) but the management does speak a bit. Anyway everybody is very helpful and smiley. The hotel does not have a lift, therefore if you have heavy luggage ask for a room on the lower floors. The town doesn't offer much but it's very close to nice trekking paths or more turistic places like Karpasz.
A very pleasant hotel beautifully maintained. Our room overlooked a peaceful garden. It was large and modern, well up to the best international standards for a hotel of this category. Two single beds seperated by a lot of floor, so not exactly romantic but extremely comfortable. German was probably well ahead of English as the staff's first foreign language, but communication was perfectly easy. Dinner was delicious and portions very large. Easy parking on the quiet street although, for the nervous, there is also paid gated parking. Excellently located just a few minutes from the center and right across from the Spa park. When we were there, this park was closed for renovations, but when it re-opens, it should be delightful. The town has had a facelift courtesy of an EU grant and looks very nice - if only they could run the graffiti artists out of town! Lovely walks out into the countryside. All in all, a delightful bargain in mid-August. This little spa town is a nice place to discover and the Bis Hotel a comfortable place to start.…
