Used this location as a midway stop on our first trip to Poland. Large and free parking in a quiet location, affordable large rooms with food options on site. Front desk staff were quick to provide room key after filling out proper forms. Previous reviews mention unfriendliness and while definitely not overly friendly seemed more matter of fact here's what is needed and nothing more. When we asked for the wifi passcode later on and them again for something else they were always pleasant and happy to help, so I chalk this up to cultural differences as this is not a large hospitality chain! Stayed in room 6 i believe has a shared balcony with two other rooms but it seemed only one of those rooms was occupied but they were never outside when we were:) Rooms are just like the pictures- floral wallpaper and loads of thick curtains to match, our room had a period style couch and other furniture but did have a modern flat screen tv :) Room was clean, bathroom had great water pressure and bed was comfortable. No refrigerator in room if that is something you need unsure if other rooms do or not. Floors are squeaky in parts and we were both woken by what I'm assuming to be staff coming down from the floor above us early in the morning to go prepare breakfast? Other than that aside from hoping we weren't disturbing anyone with our walking it was fine. Restaurant included a small menu of Polish food, burgers and pizzas. They were out of pierogi!!!!! a slight disappointment to say the least, I had a chicken dish covered in tomato and cheese hubby had a fish dish both were okay nothing to write home about. The pizza place does delivery and saw multiple delivery companies picking up so they must be good. Coming from Germany where mask wearing is the norm we were a bit shocked that despite a sign at entrance about wearing masks and keeping distance staff were not doing so (mask wearing). There was disinfecting stations throughout. Breakfast buffet was a good selection of cereal, meat, cheese, bread, juices and a coffee machine there were also scrambled eggs and a couple of warm meats one was like chicken fried steak strips and husband was very happy with those and the eggs.…
We overly enjoyed our one night stay. The room was very big with a nice view and a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and the shower hot and powerful. There is plenty of free parking, the hotel is not in the center of town. Breakfast buffet was not overloaded, which was nice. It was still tasty and plenty of things to choose from. The interior was very unique. Unfortunately, the receptionist who greeted us was quite rude - but at least we got an early check in for free.
Hotel is on quiet place with own secure parking. Decoration of all hotel is in old style. Sometimes feels little bit strange, you can feel like in Harry Potter's place :-) Breakfast was nice with a good variety.
My previous hotel was overbooked or a complication over the booking so proprietor displaced me here. What a great surprise! Lovely old building, tastefully and differently refreshing interior decor. Old style carpets and paintings - with some house birds at reception! There may be a bar but I didn't look tbh. Great quiet peaceful sleep. Hotel is on outskirts of the village so beautiful surroundings and views. Nice simple wholesome breakfast. Pleasant and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. 😊
Hotel is in a quite area 1.2 Km from center. has a private parking (free) and a nice garden, probably better in summer. Breakfast is varied with pastries, bread, hard boiled eggs, pastries and more. Automated machine for coffee and variety of tea. Restaurant is open in the evening as well but I did not dine there. Close to a park with walking paths. The building is old and well kept. Interesting decor with local pottery, Chinese drawings and a mix of other things. Staff was helpful and friendly.
We stayed one night at the Garden Hotel during a group polish pottery trip and was a good experience. Lovely staff. Good food and close to everything. It definitely worn, but clean. The only cons for my was that my room was way too hot for my taste and I had no way to turn off the heater so I opened the windows but I had no breeze coming in. Windows were on a inner courtyard.
Very pretty interiors, sort of palatial-style. We had a spacious and beautiful corner room, with views over Boleslawiec. Short walk to the town centre, perhaps 15 minutes. Breakfast was OK, nothing to rave about but not dissapointing. Quick check in and check out, very nice staff.
Beautifully decorated villa, just outside town. No lift, but super employees helped with the luggage. The room (#1) was perfect for our needs with two twin beds at opposite ends of the spacious room. A fan had been set up in the room at our request. No English language TV working on our set. We took taxis every time we wanted to go into town, but they arrived quickly. Desk staff was wonderful and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Could use more hooks in bathroom and in guest room. Nice garden. Desk is not open 24 hours, so had problems getting semi emergency phone calls from USA during night hours. Dinner guests were few and far between, but food was well presented.
Cozy, beautiful, with nice garden and good breakfasts. I really liked the hotel, and if I am back to Boleslawiec, I would stay here as well. We had a room with the huge balcony and the view to the garden. Having the breakfast in the garden is also amazing!
This hotel was one of the best hotels I've experienced in a long time. The décor and grounds transport you to another time in history. This out of the way haven is visually exciting in an old warm charm sort of way rarely seen today. The star of this hotel, though, is the kitchen and the basic but delicious Polish culinary art it creates. I can't remember when I had a better meal than the dinner they created for us on our short stay there. I would return to this hotel just for the food. Recommended!
