We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel was great, only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of town and opposite a supermarket. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our breakfast. The room for eating was really lovely, especially in the morning with the light!

We both didn't sleep very well as we didn't find the bed comfortable and the dressing gowns were very old and stiff. It would have been nice to have our own kettle to make teas and coffees in our room- these are our only negatives.

Wonderful place. Old wordly atmosphere and a wonderful sense of traditional. Beautifully furnished bedroom and bathroom. We were here in winter and the whole Willa was beautifully warm. The breakfast is excellent as is the food in the wonderful restaurant. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is one of the female staff was extremely rude when we arrived and throughout our stay especially at breakfast time. Other than that I would highly reccomend.

If one wants to stay in a national heritage site (the building is under protection), one could not chose better: designed by Witkiewicz, it belonged to the family of Joseph Conrad, who wrote one of his novels here, the place had been rnovated very recently with a great care of the detail. I really enjoyed our room and the ambiance of the place: with character, but not over done.
The office staff is super friendly and helpful, they will check the weather forecast for you (we had a long trail planned on the day with storms), will provide you with maps and all tips, and probably all other help you should require.
The breakfast is one of the best I had in a hotel (they do not spare costs on the quality of the products), and the lady serving it is super nice (custom made eggs? no problem! no idea what to eat? she will try her best to come up with something perfect for you).
The location was perfect for us, a 5min walk from the train/bus station, so ideal for catching the morning bus to the National Park and trail, and at the same time in the city center. The aqua-park is across the street, the Hasior museum is just on the back of the Willa.
True, the place has not so nice views from the windows, but at the end I was really happy to have Biedronka (a large store next to the willa with a car park) so near by. Luckily, it is also made in the typical polish highlander style, so it does not hurt your eyes.

Lovely hotel, in an old-style wooden building about fice mins walk from the station/bus station. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and good dinner at restaurant too. Only downsides were ridiculously thin curtains that let light into the room, and not very comfortable, thin pillows.

The room was gorgeous and we really felt welcome. Nice atmosphere and staff. The restaurant was good and like the hotel it combines tradition with comfort and innovation.
We just missed more curtains on the windows (we were awaken by the light in the morning). More advice on touristic attractions would also have been good.

We wanted to spend Christmas in Poland, preparing for this trip for a few months. We booked this place in October after a thorough research. So it came as a shock to us when on the day of our arrival we got a call from the hotel informing us the room is unavailable due to some water problems and we should either find another place ourselves (!!!) or accept their proposal which was a chalet 5km away from Zakopane.
As we booked our trip through Booking.com we got in touch and after a few hours they found us a new place.
Thats definitely not a guest responsibility to look for a new accommodation, of course unexpected things happen but its the way the staff deals with them which is important.
We were very disappointed.

This is truly a beautiful house. We were very happy with our room which very clean and tastefully decorated in traditional style. The problem is that it is on a fairly busy road and next to a shop/carpark. In summer the rooms are quite warm and we were not able to open windows due to high noise outside. That made for very poor sleep (in winter it would be better as windows are double glazed and block out most of the noise). The curtains are made from very thin fabric and in summer it's very bright at 4am so we were awake very early! I wish I read a review on this property that mentioned the same problems as we would have not stayed there. We wanted a more peaceful location with more serenity! Staff are very helpful and restaurant is tops! Breakfast was very lovely so otherwise everything was great.

The hotel looks lovely on the outside and on the inside, but unfortunately it's all there is.

It is located by a busy road in a supermarket car park. If you're unlucky enough your window will look out on a derelict building. Rooms are clean and nicely done, but there's no basic toiletries, no hair dryer, don't even think of tea/coffee facilities or bottles of water in the room. No sheet protectors on mattresses. Curtains are completely useless as they let the daylight in so you wake up at 4 am. The room gets very hot in the summer but if you open the window at night either the road traffic or the staff revving their motorbike engines after shift will wake you up.

Breakfast is pretty basic. The usual buffet selection without any hot options. Good coffee though. Staff polite but scruffy.

Within short walking distance to the bus station and Krupowki, but I won't be staying there again.

We did not stay here but visited for dinner. It came right at the point where we wanted a freshly cooked healthy meal of a high standard. This met those criteria. Service was very slow and a bit haphazard but the chef delivered beautifully.

This is a beautiful little hotel/restuarant,on entering, the bar is too the left, right is the restuarant and morning breastfast area.
The hotel sets beautiful in its location, built in a alpine tradional style, everything is wooden and the carpentry is too an extremely high standard.
The hotel does have its own car park to the side of the building but also there is a supermarket carpark also, don't panic, the supermarket is again built in an alpine style and you'd never guess it was a super market, plus once in the hotel, you can't hear outside noise.
On arriving, staff were extremely polite and showed us our rooms,I was blown away by my room, elegantly done, simple decoration but it didn't need much, the carpentry in the room was stunning and spotlessly clean.
The room was a good size with a king size bed, ample size wooden wardrobes and a writing desk, two good size chairs and in the corner of the room a door leading out onto a terrace.
The bathroom not only a practical good size but I can only say was the cleanest I've ever seen, the tiles on the floor and walls not only looked fantastic, but we're functional,no stale wet smells or peeling grouting, diffently a 10 out of 10.
In your room, there is information in Polish and English regarding the free wi-fi,which runs at a good speed.also a big television on the wall, but hey,you don't really visit zakopane to watch TV!!
You'll notice though when leaving or returning to your room it's dark, there are timed lights for you to use, this isn't a negative,it's great to see energy not being wasted so it's a big thumbs up from me,some may not like though.
Included in the price was breakfast, your shown to your table which is already set up with a tradional polish breakfast, great selection and once sat, your offered tea or coffee and scrambled eggs with sausage, which I would recommend,it's delicious.
The location of the hotel makes it easy for anyone to walk to the main krupowski street in about 15 minutes,it's a pleasant walk with good views of the Tatra mountains.
Finally, this is a lovely hotel, full of polish charm and would 100% recommend this hotel.
