Staying near by on new year eve and not a lot of places open or taking bookings Was able to walk in to this restaurant where the staff and guests where very welcoming The menu was in several languages including English and the food was fresh and really tasty The prices where good too would highly recommend.
I stayed in this hotel with my family and we were very pleased with the place, staff and the restaurant. We would definitely come back to this same hotel with pleasure. The place itself is beautiful, charming and very cosy. Our room ( n'14) was great and very big. Ladies at the reception are very nice, professional and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and varied every day. Behind the hotel you have an amazing view of the mountains. Walk to the centre ( Krupowki) is pleasant and short. Bravo Zakopianski Dwor!
We stayed at Zakopianski Dwor for 2 nights and had a very good impression of the pension just right after arriving. The architecture is typical, Goral style with lots of wood and natural decoration. The room was quiet, comfortable, the bed was spacious and very good to sleep on. We had booked breakfast and dinner (the dinner can be taken as lunch as well, from 1 pm - 6pm) and it was very satisfying, the classical bufet breakfast with ham, cheese, vegetables, pate, + fresh scrambled/omelette eggs with sausages (the restaurant lady asked us every morning if we wanted the eggs and sausagges), the second day we were more than ok only with cold bufet. There was also something sweet, yogurth, cereals, cake, etc. Coffee or tea or fresh juice, in total, very good, tasty and quite a…
We stay 2-3 times every year in Zakopianski Dwor since their opening. The staff and the owners are very friendly. Next to the spacious rooms and fair price the main reason of our engagement to Zakopianski Dwor is easy to describe: caring love. Everything is simply derived from this attitude. We have been taken as friends from the first days. The friendly and always helpful staff is really well-choosen. Everyone we met were polite, kind and caring. The building is really beautiful. The rooms are perfect, especially for families. Their kitchen is much better than any other restaurant we tried in the town.
this hotel is the sister hotel to willa kominirski on koscieliska street if you can not book willa kominirski go for this one it,s nice and clean english speaking pleasant staff comfortable rooms only five minutes walk from krupowki main street.nice style quiet hotel....same continental style breakfast..
We spent a few days in Zakopane looking for a venue to book about 20 rooms for a wedding. We considered the Litwor and Belvedere, but liked that we took take over the Dwor. We did a trial stay there a few months ago, then swooped down on the place with 35 friends in July. We were delighted. It's beautiful, comfortable, the staff is fantastic. We also looked around for places to take our group for dinner and found the kitchen at the Dwor so good that we took nearly ever dinner there. I spend more than 30 nights per year at hotels. I'm Diamond in Hilton's loyalty program and spent a week at the Rome Cavalieri earlier in the month. I enjoyed my week at the Dwor as much.
We enjoyed 4 days/night at this hotel so near trailheads to great hiking, and within walking distance of town. We found the spacious rooms comfortable with beautiful wood furniture and ample room for clothing/gear. The highlight of staying here was the hospitality of the reception staff, especially Andrew. He was essentially our guide to Zakopane, equipping us with good trails, cafes, weather reports, and general good cheer. We highly recommend this hotel
Very nice hotel from the outside and that's all, Very unpleasant sometimes rude owner or manageress of this hotel. No reception after 8pm. Very uncomfortable mattress fully overworked. In the restaurant nice food but one has to wait at least 1/2h for first meal. I do not recommend this hotel.
I just wanted to share my experience of the Z-dwor so far.... I contacted Andrej to start the arrangements for my wedding in February 2012, all I can say is that so far he has been brilliant, nothing has been too much trouble for him and he has made the whole preparation an easy task. I visited the Z-Dwor in February 2011 whilst i was in Zakopane looking for potential wedding venues, we came across this hotel and instantly feel in love with its unique design. We met with Andrej who kindly offered to show us around the hotel and he was very friendly and polite. I cannot wait to stay at the hotel in February 2012 with our 50 guests.........and share our special day in this perfect picturesque hotel
The strong advantage of this hotel is its location: walking distance to the city center and mountain routes. From outside it looks charming, on their website the inside seemed very cosy. Yet wooden, carved furniture (pretty but very uncomfortable!) could not take away the down sides of this hotel. We had a small poky room overlooked the horrendously noisy crossroad, no A/C (terrble in hot days!), narrow beds, wooden stools were the only seats, no mini-bar, small bathroom with ordinary facilities, no hair-dryer. A kettle or source of hot water for drinks would be much welcome. WiFi worked only in the hall downstairs. Breakfast buffet was quite ok (great bread!), yet with restrictive, pretty average choice. Early afternoon, while the restaurant was totally empty, we waited 20…
