Detailed Reviews
I booked a standard triple room online. We reserved a parking space which was readily available. The location of the hotel is hard to beat. It's right at the top of Krupowki Street. The receptionist was very kind. The room we got was basic, but if you aren't a fussy traveller, that should be just fine. The bathroom was really small and one could brush their teeth using the toilet. The beds had springs that would poke you while you were resting. The biggest disappointment was their restaurant. We ordered a meal for three and were told that as hotel guests we were entitled to 20 % discount on all items on the menu. To my surprise, we had to pay the full amount despite reminding the waitress we were hotel guests. When I contacted the reception desk, they arranged to return the 20% to me. However, the feeling of disappointment stayed. I understand that honesty is dependent on the staff rather than the hotel itself but they should look into who they hire for the job. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay, again location being the main advantage.

Stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed it immensely. It's a perfect location, just at the top of the main Krupówki street, with more restaurants and shops you could possibly visit during a short stay. Our room was big and clean, with the tv, huge bed, seperate covers (mr loved it because I couldn't hog the duvet) and private bathroom with toiletries provided. Breakfast every morning was lovely, with fresh bread, hams, cheese, fruit, jams, honey, etc, and cereals, as well as a choice of juices, tea and coffee. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Towels weren't changed (we weren't bothered) and they haven't cleaned the room on one day, but again it wasn't a problem. The only issue was with the internet which didn't work in the room, however wifi downstairs in the restaurant was absolutely perfect. Would stay here again.

We visited this restaurant on two occasions during our recent week end to Zakopane, the restaurant should appear under the restaurant section for reviews as its open to the general public and they even have a guy in a chefs outfit in the street inviting customers in.
Our first visit for lunch would be giving the restaurant a 5 star review, good service and good food at a reasonable price!
Because of this positive experience we took our two travelling companions for dinner the next night thinking that it was a safe choice. That proved to be a mistake!
The waitress took our order, wrote it down in detail, however she somehow didn't put in one if the meals into the little computer that's connected to the kitchen. She got the drinks order mixed up, but corrected it. Then when she started to bring the meals she didn't bring any cutlery or napkins, my husband walked over to the waiters station to collect one set for meal served. Then another two meals arrived, but no cutlery, do he went again - at no point of time did our waitress or anyone else react to bring cutlery or napkins to our table. I might add that mist if the tables were empty stomach this time, only perhaps one third had anyone sitting down. Three meals arrived for 4 people and the waitress did not in any way react to the fact that one person had nothing in front if him, when we enquired she said it would come in 3 minutes. We hen I mentioned that she'd not brought any cutlery to our table she just said "I know" the 3 minutes turned into 15 and still no 4th meal..... We cancelled the order and asked for our bill, after we paid the bill the meal arrived and the manager said it was free of charge, a farce! It took the meal an additional 30 minutes to arrive after the 3 other meals!
The food is great in this place, but the management need to get their act together in terms of service and customer complaint resolution, the manager was completely impotent in resolving the situation, he thought offering a free dish solved the problem. Clearly it's not about the money.......

I rarely complain but now is the time!
Tiny room with two beds that were bought at a yard sale 1992.
Bathoom so small you had to go sideways to the shower cabin.
I am not afraid of muslims but the whole of Zakopane were flooded with hardcore muslims. Female in burkas of the hardest kind!
This place catered especially to them. They had special chefs cooking chicken and rice. The restaurant and outdoor seating area were occupied with 90% of these!
Last morning we had an early bus and needed to check out at 8.00 when the reception should open. 8.15 a person finds the time to open!
The only good thing was the breakfast! And the nature in Zakopane is wonderful.

Pork chops - dry
Pizza -big and dry
Fish -below average-poor.

I was not the first time in that hotel. It is a quiet, pleasant 2-stars' hotel. Very clean. I recommend especially Lux rooms, lately modarnized. What is more important - at the main street of Zakopane. Very near to restaurants and shops.

a hotel at the top of Kakopane's main strip. Convenient location to restaurants and bars. Friendly staff. The room was a tight squeeze though. Breakfast was good and changed each morning. The bar was reasonably priced and a good place to escape from the crowds in town.

Stunning Gaudi inspired architecture and incredible attention to detail make this hotel something special. Rooms are very comfortable, well equipped and thoroughly modern with all needs catered for (except strangely no wardrobe) with quality furniture and fittings. The sauna is simply gorgeous and a godsend after a few hours skiing. Breakfast is a decent buffet style offering and the location is an easy 5 minute walk into the centre of town. If you are coming to Zakopane stay here - you won't regret it.

Dont fool yourselve. This hotel is closer to motel standards. Normal rooms are tinny and looks more like typical B&B rooms in zakopane. Narrow corridors, no lift (high stairs) and tiny rooms with uncomfy beds....Zakopane is small enough to find something better and close enough to Krupówki with better price and standards. Plus for breakfast and location only
