From pictures and reviews we chose Aquarion as it looked lovely and modern.
Our stay started very negatively with a really overcrowded car park, we found a spot after around 45 minutes of waiting. These spots are also 40zl per 24hours to park in.
However check in was a breeze, quick and to the point. Room was very spacious and modern, bed was extremely comfortable and plenty of pillows provided.
I phoned reception to request some toothpaste and potentially conditioner after using the aqua park but was told they didn’t have any. I requested a EU to UK plug adaptor but was also told they don’t have any. For a 4 star hotel i was really disappointed by there not being any toiletries.
Breakfast was very good, crowded at the weekend but a wide variety of foods and drinks.
The aqua park was amazing and the reception helpful the direct connection makes it super comfortable to get around. Cleaning staff were great and super helpful.
Would 100% recommend the hotel to anyone but like stated if driving in patience is key with parking and make sure you bring your toothbrush and toothpaste.
The best part is that you can use the connected walkway to walk to the thermal baths. The hotel gives you wrist bands that allow you to scan right in and there are reserved lockers for the hotel and your wrist band opens up your private locker that corresponds to your room number. My 9 and 11 year old kids loved all the slides at the thermal baths.
We took the opportunity to get out into nature and do a nearby hike. It was gorgeous! I just wish we had planned more than one night at this hotel!
Room was big and nicely furnished, with balcony and nice view from it.
There is sauna in a hotel (finnish sauna and steam sauna), which is a very nice thing, after walking in the mountains.
Breakfast was spacious, with a selection of hot meals, variety of omletes and scrumbled eggs. Also it was possible to cook belgian waffles for yourself on the spot.
Also, it is possible to go to aquapark from hotel.
I was expecting a bit more from this hotel.
Location is great 15 min away from famous town centre .
Compare to other 4 stars hotels I've already been ,this hotel needs more improvement.
Souna was not working during my stay and it was two small for this massive hotel.
Steam room has capacity of only 3 person at the time.
Relaxing are too small.
If you come by your own car , you've got to pay £12 parking charge every night which was disappointing.
No fresh fruit juice on the breakfast menu.
Not even bottle of waters...
Options on the breakfast are limited.
Do not count on the souna and spa area. Really disappointing.
Tea and coffee set so basic.
Toiletries in the bathroom not really complete .
The room has a balcony with a view of the mountains. There were even extra towels in the room to take to the neighboring thermal baths.
Regarding the thermal baths: there is direct access to the thermal baths via the 2nd floor, but you can only book day tickets or hourly tickets. I always booked the evening ticket for 39 zloty (1.5 hours from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.). Walking across the parking lot to the thermal baths is perfect.
Breakfast was delicious. You can bake your own waffles and have omelettes baked to order.
I would love to come back.
